Vania was silent with her mouth slightly open looking at Max who turned out to only dedicate his life to her happiness. It was as she suspected all along and she felt comfortable but her status was still with Carlos’ legal wife.

Vania sighed, lowering her face. She felt sad because she remembered the betrayal that Carlos had committed a few months ago, and now there was another man who had made her comfortable, but she couldn’t be with him because she was still married to Carlos.

“What have you felt all this time with me, Vania?” Max asked after a few minutes of watching Vania silent in anxiety.

“For that, we should return to Jakarta to meet him and ask him to divorce you,” said Max.

“What if he doesn’t want to divorce me, or even take Vano from me?” asked Vania narrowing her eyes.

Max sighed, then took Vania’s right hand and held it. “I’m sure. We can pass all the tests for our holy intention to become a couple…God will surely help us.”

“I’m not sure. Carlos is such a jerk’¦ I’m afraid he’ll take Vano from me instead!”

“To pick up Vania,” Carlos replied as he took off his top and threw it on the sofa. “I’m going to make it come back to me because I can’t be without it. She’s much better than you,” he continued without thinking about Elsa’s feelings.

Elsa smiled sarcastically, glancing at Carlos, who was now up on the bed and lay beside her. “I don’t think she’ll ever come back to you. She’s already happy with another man, and I don’t think she has any love for you either!”

Carlos glanced at Elsa hatefully then approached her, grabbed her hand, and shifted to sit on her stomach. “Elsa, what exactly is your role as my Wife? Why do you always provoke my emotions?”

“Because you’re a husband who doesn’t deserve respect!” Elsa struggled to try to free Carlos’ grip from her hand. “Carlos let me go!”

Carlos, who was emotional due to being abandoned by Veronica, then made even more emotional by Elsa, immediately slapped Elsa’s face with such force and strangled her.

“You’d better die, Elsa!”

“Carlos!!” Elsa struggled to breathe and tried to release Carlos’s grip on her neck.

Johan who was still on the balcony heard Elsa’s screams. He immediately went back into the room and pushed Carlos to the ground.
