Dean followed Bryana to the bathroom but he found his wife already in the walk-in closet room sitting on a chair but looking down holding her belly. The man immediately approached, embraced her.

“Honey, let’s go to the hospital. Dr. Clara instructs us to get there right away,” Dean said worriedly.

“Okay, I’ll be ready for a while,” said Bryana, releasing Dean’s arms. She rushed to grab a maroon blazer then put it on while Dean went to the bathroom to wash her face and brush her teeth for a bit.

Bryana who never forgets about her appearance polished her face with light make-up sprayed blossom-scented perfume on her body then took her phone and put it in the bag that she always carried when traveling. She was in pain again and decided to sit on the edge of the bed while waiting for Dean to get ready.

Dean wore gray denim pants combined with a navy blue sweater and combed his hair with a haircut style. He immediately pocketed his phone and wallet then approached Bryana who looked weak on the bed.

“Honey… You’re okay, right?” Dean asked, looking down at Bryana. he pushed the wheelchair carrying his wife as he followed the caretaker who walked through the birth room.

Bryana nodded. “I’m enjoying it.”

“Yes … enjoying childbirth for the last time,” said Bryana with a faint smile despite the pain. she bit her own lower lip until the nurse opened the door to the birth room where Dr. Clara and several other sisters were waiting there.

Dean didn’t come in. he was out of the room sitting in the waiting chair trying to reach Raymond and his mother because he hadn’t had time to tell them about Bryana.

“Hello Raymond … I just wanted to let you know that Jill is having a giving birth,” Dean said when he connected with Raymond.

“Now? this late at night?” Raymond sounded panicked.

“Yeah. Now I’m just with Dany.” Dean looked at Dany who had just arrived after parking his car. “I was just letting you know. Now I have to see how Jill is doing.”

“Is your baby born yet?” This time it was Monica who asked. “Girl or boy?”

“If she feels contractions, that’s a sign the baby is coming. Now we’ll just have to wait,” said Dr. Clara after checking on Bryana.

Dean nodded in understanding then returned his focus to Bryana. “Honey. how are you feeling now?” he asked worriedly.

“Hungry,” Bryana replied.

Dean swallowed his saliva silently. Sometimes his wife who was in pain was also hungry. “What do you want to eat?” he asked.

“Spaghetti,” Bryana briefly bit her lower lip, diverting the heartburn and pain in her stomach.

“Huh, spaghetti?” Dean was surprised.

“Just buy it, sir. Who knows after buying and eating spaghetti, the baby will be born,” exclaimed Dr. Clara with an amused smile. Lol

Dean turned his attention back to Bryana. “Okay. I’ll ask Dany to buy the spaghetti.”

“Buy chocolate ice cream too,” Bryana exclaimed.

Dean smiled amusedly looking at Bryana who was in pain still wanting food. He lowered his head to massage his forehead with a surprised smile. “You are weird.”

“I don’t know… I want to eat now but my stomach hurts too.” Bryana looked annoyed and even almost cried looking at Dean who smiled. Husband is not understanding. Hahaha…

“Oh, okay. I went out for a minute to tell Dany,” said Dean then kissed Bryana’s forehead and then left the delivery room. He immediately asked Dany to buy the food his wife wanted.

“What? spaghetti…ice cream?” Dany looked surprised. She thought Dean had come out of the birth room because the baby was already born but instead sent him on a mission to buy food.

“Yeah. It sounds weird but that’s what she wants. Please buy it. I think there is a restaurant open 24 hours near the hospital.” Dean explained in a huff.

“Okay then, I’ll buy it now,” said Dany.

Dean immediately gave the money to Dany who immediately walked to get out of the hospital while he immediately returned to the delivery room to accompany Bryana who was enjoying the pain and heartburn.
