Chapter 111: Chapter 111: After Guests
[Spice ahead]
The manor got quieter after the brothers left.
The ether wards themselves relaxed back into their normal hum once the front door shut and the security feed stopped showing new silhouettes.
Rafael stood in the dining room doorway, watching the last of them disappear down the hall under staff escort, posture too composed for how much irritation still sat under his ribs.
Gregoris didn’t say goodbye and his brothers didn’t seem to expect it.
The moment the door clicked shut, Gregoris turned.
And the shift was immediate, war council Gregoris evaporating into husband and mate. His shoulders loosened by a fraction. His gaze locked on Rafael like the room had finally returned to its proper priority.
“You survived,” Gregoris said.
Rafael’s mouth twitched. “Barely.”
Gregoris crossed the distance in two steps. He slid a hand to Rafael’s waist and lifted him like Rafael weighed nothing, as natural as breathing. Rafael made a small sound of offended surprise that came out suspiciously close to a laugh.
“Gregoris!”
“You said tomorrow,” Gregoris murmured, already carrying him out of the dining room and back toward the corridor that led to the office wing. “I heard.”
Rafael’s brows lifted. “You’re acting like you agreed.”
“I did,” Gregoris said, voice calm, and his grip tightened slightly as if daring the world to argue with the fact. “Because you decided it.”
Rafael stared at him, then laughed, low, startled, and entirely amused by the absurdity of it.
“So,” Rafael said, “all I have to do to make you behave like a functional adult is threaten you with your own mother?”
Gregoris’s mouth curved. “No.”
Rafael’s eyes narrowed, entertained. “Then what?”
Gregoris’s gaze dropped to Rafael’s mouth for half a second. “You have to be on my desk.”
Rafael’s laugh broke freer, warm and wicked.
They reached the office door. The security lock recognized Gregoris and opened without sound.
Rafael expected him to set him down.
He didn’t.
Gregoris carried him straight in, kicked the door shut behind them, and the moment the latch clicked, the house became distant again with wards humming, monitors glowing, the rest of the manor irrelevant.
The desk was exactly where Rafael had left it. His earlier “indecent” posture echoed in the memory of it like a private joke.
Gregoris set him down on the desk with care, firm enough to be a decision, gentle enough to make it obvious he was still thinking about Rafael’s body and the child inside him.
Rafael braced his hands behind him and looked up, eyes bright.
“Are we resuming where we were interrupted?” Rafael asked.
Gregoris leaned in, close enough that his breath warmed Rafael’s lips. “Yes.”
Rafael laughed again, unable to help it. “You’re unbelievable.”
Gregoris’s mouth brushed his, barely a kiss, more a promise. “You married me.”
Rafael’s smile sharpened. “Unfortunately.”
Gregoris’s eyes darkened with satisfaction. “Fortunately.”
Rafael’s laughter softened into a breath as Gregoris kissed him properly. His hands anchored Rafael’s waist, then slid up, steady and possessive, as if re-establishing the perimeter that the dinner had dared to disrupt.
Rafael’s fingers curled into Gregoris’s shirt, pulling him closer.
Gregoris deepened the kiss, his tongue tracing Rafael’s lower lip before delving inside to explore. The kiss was hungry yet controlled, a stark contrast to the composed demeanor he’d maintained during dinner. Rafael responded with equal fervor, his body arching against Gregoris’s as weeks of tension finally found release.
“God, I’ve wanted this,” Rafael gasped when Gregoris moved to his neck, nipping at the sensitive skin just below his ear. “Since before the guests arrived.”
Gregoris’s response was a low growl against his throat. “I wanted to throw them out the moment they arrived.” His hands slid down Rafael’s sides, fingers hooking into the waistband of his trousers.
Rafael laughed breathlessly. “Of course you did.” He shifted on the desk, making room as Gregoris lifted him slightly to remove his shirt completely. “They were trying to provoke you.”
“It worked.” Gregoris’s mouth traveled down Rafael’s chest, pausing to tease each nipple until they hardened into tight peaks. Rafael’s head fell back, exposing his throat as Gregoris continued his downward exploration.
The desk was cool against Rafael’s heated skin as Gregoris removed the remainder of his clothing with methodical care. There was nothing rushed about his movements, yet each touch, each kiss, spoke of a hunger barely restrained.
“Look at you,” Gregoris murmured, his hands tracing the slight curve of Rafael’s stomach where their child grew. “Perfect.”
Rafael’s breath hitched as Gregoris knelt, his mouth replacing where his hands had just been. The first touch of Gregoris’s tongue against his entrance made Rafael cry out, his hands flying to Gregoris’s hair, fingers tangling in the blonde strands.
“Gregoris,” Rafael gasped, his hips lifting instinctively. “Please.”
Gregoris responded by delving deeper, his tongue working Rafael open. The sounds Rafael made – soft cries, desperate pleas, breathy moans – filled the office, mingling with the hum of the wards and the glow of monitors.
When Rafael was trembling with need, Gregoris finally stood, his own clothing discarded in a matter of seconds. The sight of him made Rafael’s mouth water.
“On your stomach,” Gregoris commanded, his voice rough with desire.
Rafael complied without hesitation, shifting until he was bent over the desk, his ass ready for Gregoris to take.
Rafael let out a choked moan as Gregoris entered him with a smooth thrust. The stretch, the burn, the fullness were overwhelming and perfect, exactly what Rafael had been craving for the past three months.
“Gregoris,” Rafael breathed, pushing back against him. “Move.”
Gregoris began with slow, deep strokes, each withdrawal leaving Rafael feeling empty before the next thrust filled him completely. The desk creaked softly beneath them, a rhythmic contrast to their breathing.
“Harder,” Rafael demanded after several minutes of this torturous pace. “I won’t break.”
Gregoris’s response was to increase his pace, his hips snapping forward with enough force to make Rafael slide across the desk. Rafael’s fingers scrabbled for grip on the smooth wood, while his cheek pressed against the cool surface.
“Like that,” Rafael gasped. “God, right there.”
Gregoris adjusted his angle slightly, hitting that spot inside Rafael that made stars burst behind his eyelids. Rafael’s cock, trapped between his body and the desk, leaked with each thrust.
“Touch yourself,” Gregoris commanded, his voice strained with his own approaching release.
Rafael shifted just enough to wrap a hand around his erection, stroking in time with Gregoris’s movements. The dual stimulation was almost overwhelming. Gregoris hit his prostate with each thrust, while his hand worked his cock.
“Close,” Rafael warned, his voice breaking. “So close.”
Gregoris’s pace quickened, his thrusts becoming erratic as he chased his own release. “Come for me,” he demanded, his fingers digging into Rafael’s hips hard enough to leave bruises. “Now.”
Rafael considered arguing with the alpha, but Gregoris hit a spot that made him to see stars. With a cry that was half Gregoris’s name and half incoherent pleasure, he spilled across the desk and his own hand. His body clenched around Gregoris, pulling him over the edge with him.
Gregoris’s release was followed by a guttural groan, his hips stuttering as he filled Rafael. For a moment, they remained joined, both breathing heavily, the office silent except for the hum of the wards and their slowing heartbeats.
Eventually, Gregoris withdrew gently, helping Rafael to sit up. The mess on the desk was ignored as Gregoris pulled Rafael into his arms, kissing him with a tenderness that contrasted sharply with his usual self.
“Mine,” Gregoris murmured against Rafael’s lips, his hands tracing soothing patterns on Rafael’s back.
Rafael laughed softly. “Yours,” he agreed, resting his head against Gregoris’s shoulder.
They stayed like that for several minutes, wrapped in each other’s arms, the outside world forgotten. When Rafael finally pulled back, his eyes were soft with contentment.
“We should clean up,” he said, though he made no move to do so.
Gregoris’s mouth curved into a smile. “Later.” He bent to kiss Rafael again, slower this time, deeper. “I’m not done with you yet.”
Rafael’s eyes widened slightly. “Again? Already?”
Gregoris’s response was to lift Rafael once more, this time carrying him toward the private bathroom attached to the office. “Did you think I would stop at once?” he said, his voice dropping to a low murmur. “After all the waiting?”
