Chapter 6: Screams

“What the hell are you looking at?”

A voice called out to him. Soft, almost melodic.

Mikey’s eyes snapped open, and for a brief moment, he was disoriented.

Then, his gaze landed on a girl—silver-haired, slender yet curvaceous, her figure accentuated by the soft glow of the room’s lighting. His mind lagged as he took in the sight, his thoughts sluggishly piecing together where he was.

Then it hit him—

‘…I’m in the novel.’

His heart gave a dull thud.

‘Right. I made it.’

But the sudden realization was quickly overshadowed by the girl standing before him.

Before he could fully process his surroundings, she spoke again, her tone sharper this time.

“Are you even listening to me?”

Mikey blinked, snapping out of his trance.

“Huh? What?”

Her brows furrowed, and she crossed her arms, her expression caught somewhere between irritation and amusement.

“I said, what the hell are you staring at? This prize ain’t for you.”

Before he could answer, something else caught his attention.

A system notification. Two, actually. One hovered above her head in a crisp, glowing text, while the second appeared slightly to the side, providing a description, justice it had with Gina

The system’s interface displayed the white coloured text- which could only mean that the difficulty for this novel avater was easy.

The second text read:

[Background: Ayra is an 18-year-old whose mother recently married the player’s father. ]

[Details: She is extremely aroused but refuses to show it.]

Mikey stiffened, his eyes narrowing as he processed the words.

‘Hmmm…so, this novel’s difficulty is “easy”, huh?…Noice.’

Then, his gaze shifted to the objective displayed beneath the text.

[Objective: Seduce and Satisfy Ayra]

Mikey stared at the message, his mind working through the implications. The mission wasn’t all that different from what had happened with Gina.

A realization settled over him—this system wasn’t just about giving him quests. It was pushing him into situations, making sure he followed through. It was as though it was training him for something.

A thought crossed his mind as he processed on how to proceed in his current predicament.

‘Well… last time, I started with suckling, right? So I better get to it.’

With all that said and done, he reached out toward Ayra with his hands extended, aiming directly for her well curved breasts, intending to get things over with as fast as possible.

Although this should have been more of a delicate process, Mikey was more interested in getting to the “sex” part. That way, he could truly learn his capabilities. Therefore, foreplay seemed more like a delay to him, rather than a necessity.

However, the moment his hand moved, her expression changed.

Her face turned scarlet as she caught sight of his movements and before Mikey could react—

SLAP!

A sharp, stinging force struck his cheek, nearly knocking him off balance. His head snapped to the side, and he staggered, the force of the slap leaving his skin burning, and only a single thought in his head.

‘T-The hell just happened?’ he muttered, rubbing his cheek.

Ayra’s voice erupted, sharp and furious .

“PERVERT! Don’t you dare touch me!”

With that, she stomped away, her footsteps echoing up the stairs as she disappeared to the upper floor.

Mikey stood frozen, his mind still catching up. He hadn’t even gotten the chance to explain himself, not that there was any explaining to do.

His hand lingered on his cheek, the heat of the slap refusing to fade.

“What the hell, System?”

He glanced at the notification again.

[Objective: Seduce and Satisfy Ayra]

The mission remained unchanged. Yet, he had once again befallen such a disheartening embarrassment.

“Wait… does this mean I actually have to put effort into seducing her?”

He groaned, dragging a hand down his face. With Gina, things had been straightforward. But this? Did he seriously have to figure out how to get Ayra to want him?

“Damn it… this system just makes my life harder.”

Shaking his head, he turned and noticed a couch nearby. Figuring he might as well regroup, he walked over and dropped onto it, still rubbing his sore cheek.

“Alright Dickson, think. How the hell do I seduce a girl?”

He frowned. Adult magazines never really covered this part. They always skipped straight to the action. And the ones that did give tips? He had ignored them. Because back then, all he had cared about was the nudity. Now, he wished he hadn’t been so skeptical about their intros. Sorta.

Still, no matter how much he tried to process a plan, nothing came. He just sat still, with nothing in mind except his embarrassing thoughts.

With a sigh, he leaned back, staring at the blank TV screen in front of him.

“Screw it.”

Grabbing the remote, he turned on the TV.

A familiar cartoon flickered to life—Mick and Rorty.

Mikey’s lips twitched. He loved this show. The slapstick humor, the ridiculous situations—it was the only thing that could distract him right now.

However, it was a show from his original world, but somehow, it was being broadcasted in the novel world. To some, this might have been worth investigating, but Mikey wasn’t exactly right in the head after the thunderous slap he had recieved. And so, he only ignored the mystery.

As the episodes played, time slipped by. He lost track of how many he had watched, his thoughts momentarily freed from the looming mission. At that point, he was actually enjoying himself without any thought of completing his mission.

Then—thud.

A soft noise echoed from upstairs.

Mikey froze, his fingers tightening around the remote.

Thud.Again.

He turned his head toward the staircase. Last he checked, he and Ayra were the only ones home. So where was that sound coming from?

Soon, his curiosity got the best of him and, he stood and made his way toward the stairs.

Thud.

The sound was coming from the hallway above. More specifically… from his room.

A strange feeling crept into his chest as he approached. As he drew closer, his ears caught something else—something faint but unmistakable.

A soft… moan.

Mikey stiffened. He knew that voice, not that he could forget. It was Ayra.

His steps slowed as he reached his door. The muffled sound continued, growing slightly more frequent as his heartbeat quickened.

“No way…”

Carefully, he pressed his ear against the door. The sound was clearer now—a mix of soft gasps and breathy noises. His throat went dry.

‘Is she…fucking someone?’

Right then-

Creak!

The door shifted.

Before he could react, it swung open just enough for him to lose his balance and then-

“Whoa—!”

Mikey stumbled forward, landing hard on the floor. His face was inches from the carpet, his brain scrambling to catch up. And then it hit him, he had fallen into another predicament whilst obviously eavesdropping, and now, he had an idea of what awaited him.

At first, he expected a slap or beat down, but then, as he rose his gaze, he saw it.

Ayra.

She sat on his bed, silver hair cascading over her shoulders, her fingers clenched around something. Something that buzzed softly in the silence….a-

‘…vibrator?’

Mikey’s breath hitched. His mind blanked as Ayra’s eyes snapped to him.

Then, there was a long pending comical silence in the room, before—

“Ahhh!!!”

A loud scream erupted.
