The young man lay prone on the bed, his face buried deep into the duvet, yet he could not suppress his whimpers. His body trembled, his legs parted wide, and his hips were raised high to receive every driving impact from the person behind him.

Having spoken, Julian buried his face into Ethan’s shoulder again, taking a deep breath. His body was limp as a pool of spring water within Ethan Caldwell’s arms. After playing for so long, surely the drug’s effects had worn off.

Julian murmured this to himself internally. Succumbing to the tranquility that followed the fierce tide of passion, his eyelids grew heavy, and finally, Julian sank completely into sleep.

Julian was drenched in Ethan’s scent. If he were placed on Kieran’s bed, Kieran would undoubtedly go berserk and burn the mattress. Ethan carried Julian to the hospital bed, placed him down carefully, and tucked him in.

“Do you know what drug it is?” Ethan asked while reaching out to massage Julian’s waist again, showing no reserve in front of Kieran.

Kieran wasn’t surprised, merely clicking his tongue and thinking he had to eat dog food again: “I have a hypothesis, but I’m not certain. The composition is 85% similar to a specific banned substance, but that type is strictly controlled by the government, so it shouldn’t have leaked out. If it really were that specific drug, I’m afraid your little wife wouldn’t have survived.”

“It could be a synthetic imitation, altering the remaining percentage of medicinal properties. I’ve prepared an IV drip to help the body recover so those substances won’t damage internal organs. However, after today, you must nurture his health carefully, otherwise there will be lasting effects.”

Ethan frowned upon hearing this.

“Don’t look so mournful in my place. Let him take this infusion; it’ll take about an hour and a half. I’ve called someone to clean the room and added some disposable bath amenities. Later, you two go back over there to do it, don’t stain my room.”

“We still have to do it?” Ethan was slightly surprised, watching Kieran find a vein to administer the drip to Julian: “Didn’t you have the medicine?”

“This just reduces the toxicity of the drug. The stimulation level of this substance is quite high; it won’t be over immediately.”
