Gray leaned back in his chair, one hand pressed to his stomach as he tried, but failedto stop laughing.

He wiped at the corner of his eyes with his thumb.

He wasn’t, as another snort escaped him.

Gray finally managed to calm down, exhaling slowly as his shoulders relaxed. He leaned forward again, resting his chin on his palm with his eyes fixed on her.

“You know, for someone who looks so gentle, you’re surprisingly terrifying when you get angry,” he said casually, his lips curling up into a deep smile.
