“Thank you Ana, how’d we get here? Last I remember we were on the table…” Claire said. She looked to the other bed, expecting Jasmine, but it was empty. It looked to have been used with the blankets thrown around.

They all nodded in unison. Their thoughts went to their unique skills and how best to utilize them. Jasmine had already put in orders for tonics and poisons for tests. Elsie looked to her sister, she could trigger both their skills pretty easily like last night. Ana was thinking along the same lines, and began to speculate.

Claire, however, remembered how much experience she got from gaining a lover. Maybe getting Lily on board would be best for new skills and levels. She was able to level up without fighting, something unusual for combat classes. But it made sense with who her goddess was.

After a brief pause for each of them to think about their next steps as individuals, Claire decided to speak up. “What type of quests do we have lined up?”

Jasmine took a deep breath, she had just returned from talking with Elizabeth about this. “Mostly monster hunting. She got us quests above your paygrade, but would yield a lot of experience. Plus, some gathering quests for Daphne to upgrade our gear.” She paused and looked at Claire, “Some are to fight bandits…”

She let her words hang in the air. Knowing the girls were hesitant to fight other women and take another’s life. But combat is the best way to level up and get more skills.

Claire tensed up, yet again she was confronted with killing. They may be horrible people if they are bandits, but still it felt wrong to her. Jasmine watched as Claire’s expression became more stoic as she digested her words.
