“This is where we met you. Right there…!” She pointed to a large flat rock near the waterfall’s edge.

“You were sitting alone, staring at the water as if it owed you answers. We thought you looked lonely.”

“And kind of scary,” Mia added with a small laugh. “All that ice around you, even though it was summer.”

“I was trying to cool off. The heat was awful that day,” Aestrea laughed.

“Mhm… we didn’t care about that, and simply sat next to you. I even offered half of my peach to you!” Maria added softly, leaning onto his shoulder.

After being dragged to the waterfall by Mia and Maria, Aestrea was the one sit down first, stretching his legs to touch the cold water.
