Aestrea glanced between them.

“So let’s start the date where you feel most alive, with only the three of us.”

Zeva’s green eyes lit up dangerously as a wicked smile curved her red lips.

“You want to play in the sand pit?”

“Weapons?” Yara licked her bottom lip.

“Whatever you want,” Aestrea shrugged.

“Blades, fists, ice, fire… your choice. Winner gets first taste tonight, and don’t worry, I’ll put my power on the same level as both of you.”

Aestrea let go of their hands and stepped forward into the center.

Zeva and Yara stood shoulder to shoulder now, enemies united for once.

“First to pin the other two wins,” he said calmly.

“Or until someone begs.”

At their expectant expressions, Aestrea wanted to laugh.

After all, he had the obvious advantage in terms of raw power, even if he was holding back. So either way, it was going to be him the one winning.
