“Not that one,” Clara Grant said with a glance. “You can buy that one over the counter. It’s not as good as the one I was talking about.”

“Don’t go to all that trouble. This one is fine.”

Since she really couldn’t find the other one, Clara Grant took the bottle. “Alright.”

Seth Quinn cooperatively held out his hand for Clara Grant to take. It was difficult to apply the ointment with a cotton swab, so she simply dabbed some on her finger and began gently rubbing it onto the red, swollen areas in small circles.

She was so focused on her task that she was completely unaware of the intense gaze the man was directing down at her.
