With just a glance, I subdued all of them at once, entangling them in dark tendrils that prevented them from moving.

I didn’t want to just beat them up till the brink of death.

Instead, I’ll treat them as pawns to make Kevin stronger.

“Stand up, Kevin.”

I said, crossing my arms as I smiled. “You studied the book, right?”
