[Report. Avatar has succeeded in acquiring three Titles. Now processing all of the Avatar’s Titles.]
[Title: Blacksmith’s First Creation
Title Trait: In the leader’s absence, you are in charge. In the leader’s absence, you call the shots. All his other creations will follow you, lean on you, and trust in you completely. You are his light, his priced possession, his protector. You are the Blacksmith’s First Creation.]
[Title: Spirit Queen Candidate
Title Trait: All Native Spirits embody an Element or two among the Six Elements of Elemental Magic. The more Elements a Spirit embodies, the closer they are to becoming a Candidate. Once a Native Spirit embodies all Six Elements, they officially become a Candidate and as such, gain the right to challenge any Spirit King or Spirit Queen of their choice in a battle where the winner keeps the throne, ruling over an entire Spirit Realm in the process. Candidates are the equivalent of nobles in the Spirit World. As such, you, as a full fledged Candidate, have the authority to command any Spirit that embodies less than all the Six Elements to none. Find a Spirit King, or Spirit Queen and challenge them for their throne. It is a must, now that you are officially a Spirit Queen Candidate.]
[Title: First Hybrid
Title Trait: A being unheard of before. The first of it’s kind. A crossbreed of an Avatar, the incarnation of a weapon’s ego, and a Spirit, an inhabitant of the Spirit World. You have the abilities of both Spirits and Avatars, and none of their weaknesses. As the would be Ancestor of all other Hybrids to come, you will automatically have the power to command them in anyway you wish.]
“I knew I was right to procrastinate having to deal with this. Dawn, just what the hell are you?”
“I told I was special.” Dawn answers with an expression of pure, unfiltered pride on her face. That’s if, you can even call that an answer. No. You can’t. She’s just gloating. But who could blame her?
Her A-Rank and above Skills have higher effects than mine, and all her Elemental Magic Skills are A-Rank, while, for me, it’s only the Ymir Skill that’s A-Rank, plus it seems that some of my Skills were tempered with a bit to match her Spirit physiology. Namely, my Fury of Dantian Skill, Resilient Regeneration Skill and One With The Wind Skill, which were seemingly turned into Spirit Core, Spirit Regeneration and One With All, respectively. It’s only the Weapon Fanatic Skill’s Sub-Skills — save for the Bladework Skill — along with the Treasure Hunt Skill, Brawler Skill, Spatial Guard Skill and Expansion Skill, that got degraded and decreased in Rank. Other than that, it’s easy to tell from every thing else, that she’s without a doubt, way stronger than me. Which makes no sense. Last I checked, she’s my servant, isn’t she? Not the other way around. What kind of sick joke is this?
“Hah… now I really think you might just actually be stronger than Peyton.” I comment with an exhausted sigh.
“What? Oh, no way. I’m no where near mom’s level.” Dawn says gesturing with her hands in denial.
“Say what?”
“Well… it’s true that I’d give her a hard time if we really had a go at it, through my benefits of being a Spirit and all, but she’d definitely win in the end.” She adds placing her right hand beneath her chin while wearing a contemplative expression on her face, as if imagining what the hypothetical battle would look like.
“You’re kidding.” I lazily exclaim in utter surprise of her comment.
“No, really.” Dawn assures. “She’s really strong. I thought you could already tell.” She adds. Though the words would normally feel a tad condescending, her tone is far from it.
“I could tell that she was strong. I just didn’t think she’d be that strong.” I say with a lazy sigh, looking at Dawn’s status window. That insane status window. And you’re telling me Peyton is undoubtedly stronger than that…?
Then again, what would I expect? There is a chance that she’s arguably the strongest A-Rank in the world, after all. The only A-Rank with a SSS-Rank Skill.
Not to mention her friend and supposedly her only rival among the A-Ranks of Niger, who casually dismantled my arm from the rest of my body like it was just a typical Tuesday for her. All with one swing of that humongous longsword.
“Yeah, I knew she was a she-beast.”
“Master, that’s not very nice.”
“Be quiet. You’re a she-beast, too.” Dawn just looks at me with a disagreeable expression and pouts, as I say that through our Soul Bond neural link.
I don’t think I necessarily need to point out that Peyton already scares me enough as it is. Knowing that she’s much stronger than the woman who treated Wolf Spirit Amaruq like a freaking child, right after I almost died by the same mutt’s claws, really doesn’t do well in diminishing that fear for me.
So all in all… I’m really glad these powerhouses are actually on my side. Or else… well, let’s leave that to the imagination. It should be enough to know that shit would not look pretty if I were to ever get on their bad side.
