“I’m not hiding,” Elara said. “I’ve been building. Those are different orientations.”

“The building is visible now,” the administrative director said.

“That was always the plan,” Elara said.

“Fourteen,” he said.

Elara looked at him.

“Current positions,” she said.

“Yes,” he said. “Three gate captains. Two administrative clerks.
