“Strongest warriors of the Western Continent, huh?” I muttered, tightening my grip around the blade.

A sharp cracking sound rang out, and in the next instant, the sword snapped into two.

“So you are a body cultivator!” Cedric spat, instantly retreating several steps. “I will make you my slave for the rest of your miserable life for breaking my sword!”

Small bolts of red lightning began flickering around his body. In the next instant, he lunged at me at high speed, violent condensed lightning materializing in his hands.

However, before he could reach me, I had already appeared behind him in midair.

Using the lightning rod like a whip, he launched dozens of attacks toward me in rapid succession.

To his frustration, not a single strike landed. I evaded every attack with minimal movement, closing the distance with each dodge.

“Calling yourselves warriors when you have spent your entire lives under the protection of the sect,” I muttered, veins of fury bulging on my forehead.

Fixing him with the same disappointed gaze, I muttered, “You are no different from them in my eyes.”

Rowan did not respond. He could not find the words to argue back, or perhaps every excuse he thought of sounded hollow even to himself.

In the end, clenching his teeth in frustration, he spoke only one sentence.
