Chapter 34: Years Of Torture
Chapter 34: Chapter 34: Years Of Torture
I had a grudge to settle with these morons.
They were twins. The same twins who had bullied me time and time again throughout my childhood.
Sons of the Count of our territory. The same count whom my father had to show loyalty to. The same count who threw stupid taxes on our lands while we groveled at his feet.
I had to see these twins’ faces every two years. Whenever the count held his Festival of Ancestral Thanksgiving, our family was obligated to attend.
And I was bullied in every single one of them.
Pushed around. Mocked. Humiliated in front of everyone while my father did nothing.
But things were different now.
The tables had turned.
The bully would become the bullied.
I stepped forward. Didn’t need to hear the conversation to know what was going on here.
“You filthy cuntclones.” My voice cut through the alley.
“Long time no see.” I said it with a smirk.
Both of them turned. Processing for a moment. Then recognition dawned, and smiles spread across their faces.
“Eren! So you’re here too.”One of them laughed.
I think they didn’t heard the first part. I hissed knowing one of my creation was ignored.
“Looks like the party won’t be boring after all.” The other stepped forward.
“And now that we’re frustrated from this boring morning, why don’t you bow down and be the loyal dog you always were?”
I tilted my head.
“Oh, we’re doing bowing now?” I sighed dramatically.
“Fine then. Let me strip off so you can easily bow and worship my balls.”
Their smiles faltered.
“But please, don’t worship them too much that you start licking. Just like you lick your father’s boots for your stupid gains.”
TSK.
One of them clicked his tongue.
“How dare you. Looks like you’ve forgotten your place.” He cracked his knuckles.
“Seems like I have to show you where you belong.” He gestured at the ground beneath his feet.
I smirked. “Oh, then I’ll do the same favor. Show you where you belong.”
I pointed at my dick.
One of them—the hot-headed one was about to charge at me. But his brother grabbed his arm. Stopped him.
“Hold on, Damien.”
He studied me with calculating eyes.
“Looks like our little toy has gotten some guts. Must be from drinking his mother’s milk.”
He laughed.
“But poor thing doesn’t realize he can’t beat us solely on that hot-titted elf whore’s breast milk. What’s the matter, Eren? Did mommy’s saggy udders give you false confidence?”
Damien joined in.
“Brother, why don’t we tell father about this insolent behavior? And while we’re at it, we should mention that busty cow he calls a mother. Maybe father would like to milk those fat—”
He never finished that sentence.
Because I was done.
Anger filled every fiber of my being. Transformed me completely. From playful mockery to pure, undiluted rage.
I summoned them both.
FWOOOOSH.
Dark bloody aura exploded from my chest. Swirling. Condensing.
Marcus materialized first. Particles of blood-red energy coalescing into the form of a weathered general. His armor solidifying. His sword manifesting in his grip.
Then came Zenos. Azure light crackling through the air. The ancient archmage forming from fragments of arcane power. His robes billowing. His eyes glowing with barely contained magic.
The twins’ eyes went wide.
Shock. Confusion. Fear.
But they didn’t think about how I had done it. They simply reacted.
Called their own summons.
Two figures began forming beside them. Golden light gathering. Shapes emerging.
But they were too slow.
Far too slow.
“Marcus. Kill.”
My general was already moving. Before their summons could fully materialize. Before they could receive commands. Before they could even twitch.
SLASH. SLASH.
His blade carved through both half-formed summons in two brutal strokes.
“Zenos. Fire Tornado.”
I had given the command even before Marcus attacked. The spell was already charging.
FWOOOOOOSH.
A column of flame erupted from the archmage’s outstretched hands. Spiraling. Expanding. Consuming everything in its path.
Including the two enemy summons.
Including Marcus.
The fire engulfed all three of them. Burning them right there in the alley.
’Stupid.’ I realized my mistake immediately.
Completely disoriented. A chaotic, senseless attack strategy.
But why wouldn’t it be? These filths had made me lose my senses. And now I was facing the consequences.
After seeing the three summons burn, the twins were petrified.
Frozen in place.
Watching as I walked through the flames. Aura radiating from my body like I was made of fire itself.
When the flames finally cooled, the summons had begun dissolving. Fading into particles. Returning to their masters.
I could feel Marcus slowly coming back to me. Fragments of his essence flowing into my QUOR core.
The fire tornado had completely ruined the surrounding buildings. Left nothing but blackness and ash in its wake.
Even the twins’ faces were scorched. Red burns marking their skin. Spots on their clothes singed and smoking. And they had been at what they thought was a safe distance.
Sparks still flickered in the air. The aftermath of a devastating attack.
They formed a barrier of embers between us.
But I didn’t care.
I was consumed. By anger. By years of torture. By every humiliation I had swallowed.
And most of all? By the biggest sin they had committed.
Badmouthing my mother.
I ran through the sparks.
FSSSSH.
Didn’t feel any real pain from them. My clothes started catching fire. Small holes burning through the fabric. But the speed of my charge extinguished the flames before they could spread.
THWACK!
One punch connected with the first brother’s skull.
He crumpled.
The second brother saw me coming. Like a ghost emerging from hellfire.
THUD!
A kick buried itself in his gut.
He doubled over. Couldn’t breathe.
I didn’t give him time to recover.
CRACK!
A punch to his temple sent him sprawling to the ground.
What followed for the next ten minutes was monstrosity.
Pure, unrestrained violence.
I had my knee pinning one brother’s chest. The other was pinned beneath my hand, my fingers wrapped around his throat.
But they weren’t responding anymore. Their breathing had slowed to almost nothing.
I didn’t care if they died.
I looked at my knuckles.
Completely drenched in blood. Mostly theirs. But some of it was mine; the skin had torn from continuous striking against their bones.
I looked at both brothers.
Their faces weren’t recognizable anymore.
Swollen. Broken. Destroyed.
The good part? Both of them were missing at least two teeth. Their mouths were filled with pools of blood.
But it still wasn’t over for me.
I hadn’t unleashed everything yet.
CRACK!
I punched with the same intensity as before. Felt Damien’s nose break under my fist.
I could feel the pain with each strike now. My knuckles screaming. My bones aching.
But I didn’t hold back.
Didn’t discriminate between the first punch and the hundredth.
After ruining him completely after being certain he was as good as dead I turned to the other brother.
His face was already swollen beyond recognition. One eye completely shut. The other barely open.
Just open enough to see what I had done to his twin.
Just open enough to be terrified.
I sat on top of him.
THWACK! THWACK! THWACK!
Punches from both sides of his face. Alternating. Relentless.
Each blow threw blood into the air. Like a priest flinging holy water during a blessing.
After feeling the immense pain radiating through my arms, I finally stood up.
Started stomping on them.
THUD. THUD. THUD.
Then kicking their sides. Their stomachs. Their ribs.
CRACK. CRACK.
“Please stop!” A voice cut through my rage.
The girl. The one I had completely ignored this whole time.
“I can’t watch this anymore!” Her tears had dried. But her face was twisted with worry now. Horror at what she was witnessing.
I turned to her. “Then why don’t you close your eyes—”
I stopped mid-sentence.
A notification appeared before my vision.
DING.
