Chapter 53 Xia Xiaomei’s Distress Call

“Go away. I’m going to take a shower and then rest up.” Bei Yunxue shoved Wang Feng aside and ran barefoot into the bathroom. Her entire face had taken on a crimson tint.

“Hehe,” Wang Feng chuckled as Bei Yunxue disappeared into the bathroom. His expression was very lecherous.

The sounds of running water meant that Bei Yunxue had already begun taking her bath. Not one minute later, a sudden cry of pain sounded from the bathroom.

Wang Feng abandoned his cigarette the moment he heard the cry. Tossing cigarette aside, he ran towards the bathroom.

“I asked whether you know about some abandoned warehouse on the north side of the city,” he repeated. “This Xia Xiaomei,” Wang Feng thought, “All she mentioned was some warehouse. Who the devil will even know about a place like that?”

“Uncle. Take the bike and head back on your own. Don’t wait for me.” After that, Wang Feng leaped over the gates and headed towards the warehouse.

Wang Feng’s movements were agile, which had the middle-aged man gaping as he stared after Wang Feng.

The middle-aged man glanced at his surroundings, which was dark and deserted; not even a single street lamp was in sight. The middle-aged man decided not to linger in the area any longer. He would get robbed anytime in places like these. He had no intentions of becoming some unlucky mugging victim.

The building before Wang Feng’s eyes was indeed an abandoned warehouse, though he had no idea how long ago it was since it had been abandoned. Inside the warehouse, it was pitch-black dark. There was nobody there. However, there was an underground bunker beneath the warehouse, and Xia Xiaomei, now surrounded by a bunch of people, was exactly inside that bunker. Had it not been for Wang Feng’s X-ray vision, he really would not have found the place at all.

With an expression that was as cold as glaciers, Wang Feng slowly walked into the warehouse.
