Vaelora tilted her head, pink hair cascading over one shoulder as she studied the empty air again.

The next voice to chime in was childish and high-pitched, and unmistakably worried, drifting from the far side of the massive pink mattress where Titania had pushed herself up into a sitting position.

Her long silver hair, loose and tousled from hours of tangled passion, spilled over her bare shoulders and down her back in shimmering waves, several strands clinging damply to the flushed skin of her small breasts and the curve of her collarbone.

The clutched the edge of a petal-soft sheet to her chest like a shield, violet eyes huge with concern as she stared at Vaelora.

“Vaelora, did the transformation do something to your mind?” Titania asked, her voice small and trembling with genuine worry, brows creasing into deep little furrows that made her look even younger and more fragile than usual. “You’ve been… laughing and speaking to yourself for a while. And you truly seemed to be enjoying the one-sided conversation.”

“Ah, no. That is not the case, my Queen!” Vaelora flushed a deeper rose across her cheeks and the tips of her pointed ears, hurriedly fluttering her translucent butterfly wings to propel herself across the short distance between them.

She waved both hands frantically in front of Titania, her pink-black hair bouncing with each emphatic gesture. “It was Master Benjamin’s Ego Partner I was talking to!”

“See? You heard her, didn’t you?” Vaelora asked desperately, turning wide pleading eyes on the even more visibly concerned Titania, wings fluttering anxiously behind her.

“Don’t worry, Vaelora.” Titania immediately reached out and clasped Vaelora’s small hand in both of hers, squeezing gently with a reassuring firmness that belied her petite size.

Her voice dropped to a soothing, motherly tone despite being the one being comforted some moments ago. “I promise, I will make sure you are back to full mental health as soon as possible!”

Titania released Vaelora’s hand only long enough to bring her palms together in two sharp, decisive claps that echoed crisply through the petal-draped chamber.

The massive carved doors, grown from living rosewood and veined with glowing pink sap, flew open with a soft whoosh of displaced air, admitting Tesa and Tera in perfect unison.

The twins glided into the room with their usual silent, economical grace, short green skirts swishing just enough to hint at the pale tops clinging to their slender torsos and the pert curves beneath.

“Of course! My Benjamin is going to be a god one day!” Titania puffed her chest out proudly beneath the thin sheet, small breasts pushing against the fabric, nipples outlined clearly.
