“First we have to demolish a few buildings,” she said, marking the wolf den, the rabbit hole, and the goblin cave. “The location of the temple, the castle, and this black tower isn’t great, but we can’t do anything about that.”

“There is no need for demolishing, everything is movable.”

“Really?” The elf asked, surprised by my words.

“Yes, everything in my land is considered an object that I move, even that lake,” I replied, pointing my thumb at the small lake close to my castle.

“I see…” A fire lit up in her cold blue eyes as she started brainstorming new ideas. “You are much stronger than I thought.”

“Oh?… Do you have compliments for me?” My lips curved playfully.

“No, I’m being serious,” she corrected. “This will make my work much easier.”

“Alright… Let’s start with the basics.” Arwen suddenly clapped, adjusting her glasses and adopting a professional stance. “We need resources and a stable and active source of revenue.”

“My scouts found a few mineral deposits. We should mine them,” I added, earning myself a nod of approval from the cold-faced elf like a good girl.

“Mineral deposits are good, for now at least.” She pulled out a notebook and a charcoal pen, taking some quick notes. Then she turned to me and asked,

“How do you want or imagine your city in the future? Tell me your thoughts.”

“Hmm… that’s a tricky question,” I admitted, tapping my chin in thought as I imagined many… Come on, you know me, my pervert brain could only imagine the city being one giant fucking brothel with millions of cocks and pussies.

“Interesting idea,” Arwen spoke, taking more notes. “I noticed that you have many races among the citizens. How do you want me to handle their residential areas?”

“Each race has its own district, or let them mix as they wish.”

“Hmm?” I took a moment to think about that.

While giving each race its own unique district would be the most simple solution, in the long run, there would be social and logistic problems. Some races would view themselves as superior to others. Even with my ‘Offspring Loyalty’ skill and the fact that everyone is related by blood, problems could still appear in the future, like what happened with my two wolf daughters.

“Let them mix as they wish. We would only design districts in general and with racial characteristics in mind, giving more options to everyone,” I replied at last after giving it a real thought.

“Alright,” the elf accepted my decision. While she was taking notes, I commanded Herma to use the temple system we designed, giving Arwen access to the map and all of the buildings in my shop, so she could customize with ease.

“That’s all for now,” she said with a satisfied sigh, closing her notepad and tossing it in her inventory space. “I need to see the land with my eyes. Send me down please.”

“Send you down?” I tilted my head, confused for a second.

“Yes, send me to your world,” she explained calmly, adjusting her glasses once more. “The castle will do.”

“Huh?” I was even more confused. I raised my hand, pointing at the door in the distance. “You’re already there, just walk through that door. Come, I’ll show you the way.”

“You’re joking, right?” She deadpanned at me, adjusting her glasses again. “Gods can’t just simply ‘walk’ to their world.”

“But I can.” I was puzzled by her statement. I stood from my throne, walked a few steps, and extended my hand toward her. “If you want, we can go right now.”

“IMPOSSIBLE!” she exclaimed. Her shout echoed through the temple, her voice spiking like a whip crack, sharp and absolute, bouncing off the vaulted ceiling. “No god walks their realm like a mortal without using an avatar. It’s a universal law!!”

“Really?” I blinked, momentarily stunned by her intensity. Then I looked down to my divine body. “That I can do whatever I want?”

“HOW!” Her voice raised even more. I was surprised she didn’t break something.

“I don’t know, maybe because this land was mine before I became a goddess—”

“AN ASCENSION!!” she yelled again, this time her blue eyes shone bright. “YOU WERE A MORTAL!”

“Yes,” I nodded.

Arwen froze. She kept staring at my crimson eyes without blinking or breathing, her jaw dropping and her long elf ears twitching. Her cold professional attitude was gone. Then she raised her right hand and saluted me like a soldier.

“It’s an honor to meet an Ascended God.”
