Chapter 379: Feeding the Army

In less than thirty minutes.

All the northern part of the dark forest map was revealed by my lovely spiders and the new unit, the vampires.

From what I managed to gather, my camp was located north of the map, and there was nothing behind me. The map ends roughly one kilometer from my camp. So the most logical conclusion was that Mars’ camp was on the opposite side of the map.

I’ll send my spiders south later to scout for the enemy camp and more nodes.

Oh, and speaking of nodes, I managed to find and capture eleven resource nodes, six farms, and five mines.

Thanks to those, my resource points have jumped to 180 per minute, and since I didn’t need any additional troops at the moment, I used 3000 points to build the ‘Training Yard’, unlocking the swordsman, wooden barricades around the camp to secure it and four watchtowers to detect incoming enemies and extend the vision range to a radius of one kilometer.

And speaking of troops, I think my decision not to call for more was right, because I recently discovered a hidden meter that was very important in the game.

Hunger.

It turns out that the troops need to eat at regular intervals. The amount needed depended on their types. The only thing that bugged me was that the meter was hidden, only showing itself when the unit’s hunger is at 50%.

The problem I was facing was the food itself. Where the hell am I going to get some? I can’t build a food farm; the construction tab only offers military buildings and defenses. So what to do?

I pondered it for some time before I saw a notification from the game system.

One of the scouts, a vampire one, found a hidden storage in the farm node, and he was able to claim it, granting me exactly 1000 food resources. Curious, I commanded all of my scouts to go back to the claimed farm nodes and search for the hidden storage, and to my surprise, all of the farms had food in them.

All exactly 1000 food resources, and since I had seven farm nodes, that was 7000 food ready to feed my army.

Another thing that I discovered regarding food was that I had control over how much the army eats. Should I give them full rations, half rations, or rush to crush Mars before they starve, which was stupid to ever think of doing?

The big problem was that farm nodes are limited and cannot generate food; maybe I’m wrong, and a fresh 1000 food would be available after 24 in-game hours, but there was no way to know.

Hunting is another alternative solution since the dark forest has a lot of small animals that I’m sure I can use to sustain the army for a few days at least.

However, my horny mind came up with a better solution.

Sitting on a chair outside my command tent, I crossed my legs and tapped my finger on the armrest. The line of soldiers stretched out, each one waiting patiently for their turn. Hunger was a problem—but like always, I had a solution no one else would dare imagine.

“Alright, next!” I called, patting my thigh.

A spearman stepped forward, his armor clinking faintly, eyes lowered in reverence. He knelt before me without hesitation. I cupped the back of his head and pulled him in close. His lips latched greedily, and the moment my nipple slid past them, his throat worked in frantic gulps.

Gulp! Gulp!

The game system dinged again!

“Efficient, isn’t it?” I chuckled, a thrill running through me.

The spearman tore his mouth away from my breast, face flushed, eyes glazed like he had just tasted nectar poured straight from heaven itself. White trails clung to his lips, his tongue darting to lap them greedily before he staggered back to his feet, strength renewed.

One by one, they came—archers, swordsmen, spearmen, even the fresh vampires, their crimson eyes glowing with hunger not just for blood but for me. Each took their turn, mouths sealed over my overflowing breasts, drinking until the system confirmed their hunger was sated.

I even had to use my transformation to grow more breasts to allow everyone to have their meal.

Just like any normal mother feeding her young.

The strange thing was how the act changed them. Their Loyalty and morale jumped, reaching 90% and 99% for some. Was that a result of drinking milk of the goddess of breeding? Or the simple action of feeding and care, the act of ‘mother’?

“Next.”

The cycle repeated. Gulping, moaning, the endless stream of warm milk fills bellies and restores vigor. The air grew thick with the scent of sweat, leather, and—of course—the smell of my endless supply of motherly love.

Ah, who am I kidding? Even the game could see my greatness at feeding these loyal subjects my essence. I managed to satisfy the army’s hunger without even consuming a single food resource, because I was their ‘food’—the best kind.

It’s better to save the food when marching toward the enemy’s camp. I don’t think I could breastfeed the army while advancing on foot. So every food counts.

The last of the soldiers pulled away, wiping his lips with the back of his gauntlet, and gave me a bow so deep it bordered on worship. My chair creaked as I leaned back, rolling my shoulders, milk still dripping down the curve of my breasts.

“Great,” I muttered, licking my lips. “My breasts are sore, but it was worth it.”

It was almost ridiculous, really. The game gave me seven thousand points of food, and I hadn’t touched a single grain. Instead, I’d sat like the perverse goddess on a throne, letting them line up like children waiting for their mother’s blessing. One by one, they swallowed me down until their bellies were full and their eyes were shining with fanatic devotion.

Unlimited milk. Unlimited control.

Was this really just a mechanic the devs had left in by accident—or was this my power bleeding into the game itself? The thought made me chuckle darkly, and I began to suspect that this wasn’t just a simple game.

The NPCs… they were too aware of themselves. Too human to the point that it led me to suspect that they were real humans, enslaved by the gods to become the NPCs of this game.

‘If it’s true, that’s a terrible fate’

“Hmm?” Suddenly, I received a report from my spiders through our mental link, and opening the map to check, I found that my spiders had discovered a wide clearing in the middle of the dark forest.

Flat land.

The clearing stretched wide across the middle of the dark forest, large enough to build a proper settlement or perhaps even a second camp. The trees encircled it like a protective wall, thick and tall, making it nearly invisible from above. A perfect place for an outpost, an ambush, or a battlefield.

I narrowed my eyes at the glowing map, tracing the faint spider icons that pulsed on its surface. My children have done well. They even reported signs of movement—broken branches, faint trails of bootprints, traces of ash. Someone had passed through recently.

“Could be Mars’ scouts,” I muttered, leaning closer. At that moment, one of my spiders reported spotting two eagles flying south.

One thing to know about this map was that animals do exist, but they were all land-based; not a single flying creature exists, or at least I didn’t see one ever since the game started.

But C’MON really? Do I need to spell it out? Mars was wearing Roman legionnaire armor. He claimed that the Romans used to pray to him, and what’s the signature bird of the Romans?

A fucking eagle.

Yeah, I’m 100% sure that those eagles were Mars’ scouts, and knowing his personality, he’ll attack as soon as possible.

“Change of plans,” I said, standing up. My gaze swept across my troops. “Guard the camp. If anyone or anything that isn’t mine enters the camp, capture or eliminate it.”

I have no time to waste. Quickly, I used half my points to summon more troops to better secure the camp, then I called for my lovely vampires.

Three men and three women waited at attention, crimson eyes watching me without hesitation. Two archers, three spearmen, and of course, leading the blood sucking group was the female archer that I first transformed.

“With me.”

After my command, I didn’t wait for them and instantly transformed into a swarm of bats and took flight. The vampires followed me immediately, taking the skies as well.

One of the good things that I noticed about the troops was that they don’t need training. All of them were experts in what they were created for. They all had the same set of skills and talent for their type.

For example, all spearmen were of the same talent; no one was better than the other. The only way for me to acquire a better spearman is to level them up by slaying enemies and upgrading them, or upgrading the command tent and summoning a better spearman.

As for my vampire unit, when I transformed them, they instantly became experts in blood magic, no training needed, which saves a lot of time and hassle.

WOOOSH!

By the time we arrived at the clearing, my heightened senses detected the enemy scouts nearby, two groups, one at the east and the other at the west, circling around the clearing, no doubt scouring for enemy forces and nodes.

“Hmm…” Taking a moment to think, I decided to play a little game. A little trap, if you will.

“This should be fun.”
