We had passed by the ancient tribe, where Zale talked to me for a few minutes. I wasn’t planning too much time there since Amelia couldn’t see the tribe; it was hidden for her. Nevertheless, I gave them Zero’s blood, and they made the potion in record time.

I knew that it had originally been to save Phoebe, so I could only imagine that it was some kind of health potion that was ridiculously overpowered compared to the rest of the potions I had faced in my life.

Still, I liked having her around. It was nice, and it was a needed change of pace in my life. These past few days have honestly been amazing from start to finish, and I loved every moment.

Nonetheless, all good things needed to come to an end. Today was the day that I needed to go back to the human kingdom. After all, my students were waiting for me, amongst other things.

That’s why I slowly pushed Amelia off from me. “Amelia, not this morning. You remember, right? I need to go back to the empire.”

She clicked her tongue in dissatisfaction. “Tsk, why can’t we just stay here… isn’t this nice, pretty much the perfect life. You have a cute elf that loves you to death, and we have enough money to sustain ourselves, and we’re strong enough that no one will even come near us… We could stay like this until the end of our lives. What do you think?”

I shook my head. “I told you already what I think of this. I’m going back. You can either follow me or stay here. Your choice.”
