The cadet shook his head quickly. “No, sir. He’s human.”

Simon’s expression twisted into annoyance. He waved his hand dismissively. “Then drive him away. Humans can’t wield blood demon arts. Not properly, anyway.”

The cadet swallowed nervously, then spoke in a hesitant voice. “We… we already tried. Just like you said. But…”

Simon’s tone sharpened. “But what?”

The cadet took a deep breath as though forcing the words out. “You should see it for yourself.”

A vein bulged on Simon’s temple, his frustration growing. “What in the—”

But before his anger could boil over, Lilith’s smooth yet commanding voice cut through the tension. “Do exactly as he says.”

Simon froze. The authority in her tone was absolute. He pressed his lips together, bowed stiffly, and finally muttered, “As you wish, princess.” Without another word, he stormed past the cadet and out of the room.

Now, the office was quiet once more, save for the faint clinking of Lilith setting her teacup down.

Isadora turned to her mistress, curiosity burning in her eyes. “My lady… do you know who this person is? Why would you give him permission to stay?”

Lilith’s lips curled into a rare, bright smile—one Isadora hadn’t seen in months. Her scarlet eyes gleamed with excitement. “Of course I know him. And you do too, Isa.”

Leaning forward, her voice dropped to a silken whisper, as though savoring the name. “His name is Lucifer Morningstar. And if I’m not mistaken… aren’t you a fan of his as well?”

Simon came running, his shoes echoing against the marble floor, but the moment he stepped into the main hall his breath caught in his throat.

It looked like carnage.

Dozens of vampire cadets were sprawled across the ground, groaning as blood trickled from their mouths, their eyes, even their ears. Their pale bodies twitched with the effort of their vampiric regeneration kicking in, trying desperately to heal the internal damage. The floor was stained crimson, the air thick with the metallic scent of blood.

And at the very center of this battlefield stood a lone masked figure.

A tall man wearing a skeleton mask dusted off his sleeves with casual irritation, as if the massacre around him was nothing more than a nuisance. “See ’useless’? This is why I hate playing with blood. Now my clothes are all dirty.”

He gestured lazily at the bloodied cadets. “So I returned the favor a little. You don’t mind, do you?”

Simon could feel it now—the suffocating pressure pressing down on him, the weight of a predator’s aura. He knew, deep down, that if Lucifer truly wanted, he could end his life in an instant.

But still, seeing his club members sprawled helpless on the ground, his duty as president kicked in. His blood flared, and thousands of crimson arrows formed behind him in a deadly storm. His voice trembled but carried resolve. “Don’t harm them anymore.”

Lucifer tilted his head, amused. “Me? Dude, don’t accuse me wrongly. They were the ones who attacked first. I didn’t harm them—they’re just unconscious.

Give them an hour and they’ll be fine. And you know vampires don’t die easily… you’re one yourself, aren’t you?”

Simon hesitated. His instincts told him every word was true. Slowly, he let out a breath of relief.

“Then… what’s your real purpose for coming here?”

Lucifer pointed at himself with mock seriousness. “I already said this. I want to join the club. I heard your abilities get tested by the best here. So…” His masked gaze bored into Simon. “Are you going to test me?”

Every instinct in Simon’s body screamed at him to run. His voice faltered as he opened his mouth to respond, but before a sound came out—

Her presence radiated elegance and danger, her eyes glowing with an intoxicating scarlet hue. He hadn’t even sensed her arrival, despite him being a Grandmaster (low-rank) as a third year cadet.

Now, face to face, Lucifer’s masked gaze locked with hers.

A wide smile spread across his lips. “There she is. She’ll fill out my admission form for the club. Won’t you, princess? Or will you refuse?”

His eyes then shifted, catching sight of Isadora, Lilith’s maid, holding a fan-shirt with a skeleton print and a marker in the other hand.

Alex blinked, then looked back at Lilith. “Is she…?”

Lilith let out a soft laugh, her voice teasing. “Yes. She’s a big fan of yours.”

Isadora’s face turned crimson as she tried to hide the shirt and marker behind her back.

Alex chuckled. “Don’t worry. I’ll give you an autograph later. I promise.”

Isadora stayed silent, but her gaze lingered on him, torn between awe and embarrassment.

Lilith, however, stepped forward, her aura darkening as the playful tone vanished. “Back to the topic. If you want me to fill out your admission form…”

Her presence suddenly swelled, an overwhelming wave of power crashing down on the hall. “…then show me you’re worthy of it.”

Her lips curved into a dangerous smile as she whispered words that rang like divine judgement. “Blood Realm.”

The world shifted.

Alex blinked and found himself standing in a dimension of endless crimson. A sea of blood stretched as far as the eye could see, the sky nothing but darkness incarnate. The air was thick, suffocating, and charged with raw power.

Lilith floated before him, her beauty now sharpened into lethal grace. Her voice dripped with anticipation. “I’ve waited for this moment for so long. Finally, it’s here. Now… show me everything that you are.”

Alex let out a long sigh, his hand brushing across the mask. ’This insane bitch… this is why I didn’t want to meet her.’

Behind Lilith, thousands of massive blood spears materialized, each one humming with lethal energy.

She smiled sweetly, like a child asking for candy. “Shall we start the test then, Alex?”

Her voice twisted into laughter as the spears rained down in a storm.

Alex’s lips curled into a bitter smirk. ’Why does everyone start fighting me with moves that can easily kill a normal Grandmaster?’

The spears struck.

BOOM!

A devastating explosion tore through the Blood Realm, swallowing Alex in a wave of blood and darkness.
