The ground trembled harder as the undead closed the distance.

The demon soldiers clutched their weapons tightly, hearts pounding, eyes wide.

Suddenly, a deep commanding voice echoed from the front lines.

He stepped forward, shouting with defiance in his voice.

Then, a new presence descended among them.

Bellatrix’s army, empowered by fury and faith, tore through the undead like fire through dry leaves.

For a moment, victory felt within reach.

But then… the air shifted.

From amidst the undead ranks, a cloaked figure stepped forward, his face hidden in shadow. His movements were calm, almost lazy. But something about him made even the dragons falter.

Looking closer, beneath the edge of the cloak, hideous scars were visible—ripping across his chin and jaw, up to his cheekbones. His presence twisted the very energy of the realm.

He raised a single hand.

Then, with just a flick of his finger—

The earth moaned.

The skies dimmed.

And despair returned.

Thousands of undead burst from the ground beneath the demon army. The corpses that had just been slain began to reform—flesh reattaching, bones snapping back into place.

“No… no, this can’t be happening!” one demon screamed as a friend he just saw die rose again… and stabbed him through the chest.

The demon army’s formation broke.

Chaos reigned.

Hell itself had been unleashed.

Demon soldiers were impaled, crushed, torn apart. A wyvern’s wings were torn off by undead griffins and slammed into its rider. Magic failed as necrotic corruption poisoned the very mana in the air. Screams echoed endlessly as bodies fell, torn limb from limb, guts painting the battlefield crimson.

Hope shattered like glass.

Bellatrix’s eyes widened with fury.

Her aura exploded, as if shaking the heavens.

In a blur, she vanished from her spot and appeared before the cloaked figure.

“AZRAEL!” she screamed. “So you’ve finally shown yourself!”

The cloaked man tilted his head slightly, a smirk forming under his hood.

“My dear fiancée,” he whispered, voice rough and cold, “I’ve finally come back for you.”

Bellatrix’s fist, wrapped in glowing demonic aura, punched forward with world-breaking force.

“Then die!”

The ground cracked. Fissures spread. The air screamed.

Her punch collided with Azrael’s chest. The impact was devastating. A shockwave exploded in all directions. Dust and blood covered the scene.

When the dust settled, her hand had pierced clean through his heart.

Amid the chaos, blood still dripping from her open neck, she slowly walked forward. Demons and undead alike paused in stunned silence as the body reached toward her own severed head lying on the ground.

Without hesitation, it lifted the head and reattached it.

A burst of dark, demonic energy surged from the point of connection. Her eyes snapped open with crimson fury.

Her voice trembled—not from fear, but buried emotion.

“But now you’re nothing more than a filthy undead… a disease spreading destruction everywhere you go.”

Azrael shrugged, grinning.

“Yeah… and I’ll continue to do so.”

He raised his arms slowly.

“So what are you going to do about it?”

Suddenly, red energy exploded from his body—a suffocating aura of dread and control. It warped the space around him, distorting the air, the earth… and even the minds of those nearby.

Bellatrix’s eyes went wide.

Her breath hitched.

“No… impossible…”

She staggered back.

“That’s… the Aura of Domination…”

Azrael’s lips twisted into a devilish smirk.

“Exactly. You all thought Father was gone… and that his legacy would fade away with him.”

His voice boomed like thunder.

Bellatrix turned quickly, her voice roaring across the field.

“RUN!”

But Azrael’s whisper came too soon, soft yet amplified like a curse upon the wind.

“Too late.”

Then a single word echoed across the battlefield.

“Kneel.”

The moment it left his lips, every demon on the field—thousands of them—froze. Their weapons fell. Their bodies dropped to one knee, eyes glazed in a haze of forced submission.

All… except Bellatrix.

She stood alone amidst a sea of kneeling warriors.

Azrael tilted his head.

“Just as I thought. It still doesn’t work on high-ranking demons like you.”

He chuckled.

Bellatrix gritted her teeth.

’A fake…?!’

From the shadows behind her, the real Azrael stepped forward, hand still gripping the dagger embedded in her.

“I fooled you, didn’t I?” he whispered in her ear.

Bellatrix’s face twisted with rage.

“I should’ve killed you… back then… with that cursed girl of yours.”

“For old times’ sake… I spared you.”

Azrael’s expression darkened.

“You’re absolutely right,” he whispered. “You *should’ve* killed me.”

He pulled the dagger out slowly, letting her fall to her knees.

“But now… you’ll die instead.”

His voice grew louder, resonating with the power of vengeance.

“I sacrificed everything—even my soul—to reach this point. And now… I’ll take your title. Your seat. Your crown.”

He raised the blood-stained dagger high.

“After countless defeats… I’ve finally brought down one of you.”

He stared down at her.

“And soon… the rest will kneel as well.”

Bellatrix’s thoughts spiraled as blood pooled around her.

’No… I can’t… give up now… I will not… be defeated… by someone like him.’

’ I just need one chance… one single chance.’

’I will kill him. This time, no mercy. No hesitation.’

Suddenly, as if the world itself heard her cry, a blinding light enveloped her body.

Ancient runes spiraled across the ground, forming a massive summoning circle beneath her—glowing with radiant, pulsing energy.

Azrael’s eyes widened.

’What… is this?’

Bellatrix blinked.

’A summoning circle? Someone… is summoning a demon?’

A wide smile crept across her bloodied face.

’This is my chance.’

The circle began to pulse brighter and brighter until the light consumed everything around her.

In the next instant—everything went white.

When her vision cleared—

She was still in the same battlefield.

Confused.

Meanwhile, Azrael now stood in a strange new space.

Dark. Cold. Endless.

Before him stood a figure, cloaked in strange divine energy, radiating power beyond comprehension.

The man looked exactly like him—but older, battle-worn, and terrifyingly confident.

The man stared at Azrael and said,

“Listen carefully, other me.”

His voice was calm, yet absolute.

“The one you’re about to meet is a real bastard.”

Azrael’s jaw dropped as he saw the face of the figure standing infront of him and th words he spoke.

’What… the hell is this?!’
