Seeing my aunt Pam and cousin Danny return with the Martins and Loren family led by Manhunter and other C.I.B. agents using EAD Matthew’s curse dominion as an intermediate, I finally signed in relief, regardless of the guilt I felt for using the rest of the townspeople evacuating as a distraction to make this possible.

“The reinforcements are no good without a curse caster among the ranks,” Janice uttered as it had been a while since the reinforcement, Evil Eyes from the McSuile family and two other sky-tier agents from C.I.B., had arrived long ago and were lying in wait with them with no intention to engage the enemy unless necessary. Without a solution to deal with the Life-steal curse spell, they couldn’t take action. It would be as stupid as trying to swim against the current of the river.

“Can’t I just charge my rifle to max and blast them all?” I asked, instead of stating the obvious like others, I stuck with trying to find the solution.

At full power, my rail rifle curse tool was capable of mortally wounding a Void-tier or even killing one, a bunch of sky-tier should not pose a problem, even if they had the buff of the Life-steal curse spell. “No, I think he should make the shot. I believe the curse dominion is strong enough to hold the residue of the shot. A lot of manpower and resources are being wasted here. Let us not delay it anymore,” EAD Matthews disagreed with Delores and counterproposed, even hurried Ace to make the shot.

Seeing the crowd still not believing her, thinking that she was exaggerating. “No need. If you guys can get me close enough, I can swallow them whole and incinerate them along with their life-steal curse spell.” A young and jubilant voice suggested. Arriving as a ray of hope in the darkest hour.
