“Do you always rush through the dungeon like this?” Finn asked curiously as we entered the stairs leading to the safe floor after the water palace floors.

“Depends on my goal. If i’m restocking materials i’ll stop to grab the stuff I need but if i’m looking for growth or a challenge yeah. Nothing up this high in the dungeon is worth really fighting at mine and Ottars level of power. Amphisbaena makes for a nice warmup if we want to relax but it’s in the cooldown period so no point in taking our time there.” I said with a shrug.

“I think you have a twisted sense of what is and isn’t easy.” Riveria said with a twitching eyebrow.

“It depends on the person, Ottar could solo that two headed dragon only slightly slower than I could and that’s only because of my magic. It’s only when we get to the lower floors that any real challenge shows up. Well for all of you anyways since i’m spec’d for one versus many combat.” I said casually.

I wasn’t just bluffing either as once we crossed into the desert floor from the jungle ravine floors I sent out a wave of flames that wiped out every monster between us and right outside the stairs. 

“What in hell was that?” Gareth asked in shock.

“I told you i’m spec’d for one against many. That was me wiping out every monster between us and the stairs, hence the black smoke.” I said with a grin.

“How the fuck are you only level six?” Bete asked shaking his head with an unnerved expression.

“I keep saying it but I’m a freak of nature. While my level is only six after my last level up my raw stats are easily the same as a new eight. Perks of reaching the absolute limit of stats with each level up. Which by the way is three thousand in case you are interested.” I said seeing need to hide it anymore.

Every one of them besides Ottar who already knew through Freya had their jaws practically hit the floor.

“T-three thousand!? What rank even is that!?” Shakti exclaimed in horrified confusion.

Finn furrowed his brows and mutter calculations with an increasingly ill look on his face the further he got.

“Twenty five-ish thousand versus ninety thousand if you were calculating the raw numbers with S rank in all stats versus my own and not the multipliers each levels stats had over the previous level.” I said with a wink.

“How are you even alive? Breaking the S or SS ranks in a stat makes people violently ill. I can’t even imagine the suffering even more causes.” Finn eventually said with a frown.

“I created a healing coffin to counter the damage until my body could adapt. Three thousands the absolute limit though as any further and no amount of healing will stop you from dying.” I explained honestly.

“But how do you even GET that high to begin with?” Shakti asked confused.

“You know that black smoke monsters turn into when killed? I can absorb that to convert it directly into stat points, takes a fuckton though the higher my level gets.” I said honestly.

“I knew it!” Riveria exclaimed proudly.

“You say that like it wasn’t obvious to literally anyone who saw it that there was more to me sucking down smoke than at first it seemed.” I pointed out causing her to deflate slightly.

“Is that some sort of skill?” Gareth asked curiously.

“Something like that, it’s more like part of a skill than anything. That’s the most i’ll say though. Even if we have a good chance of dying against the dragon i’d rather not give away all my secrets.” I said dropping the topic.

We moved through the desert floors and white palace floor without delay after that until we reached the battlefield that was packed with monsters that I wiped out with a lazy flex of my flames. The smoke was nice but hardly enough to even start touching on the seemingly endless abyss that was within me devouring it. We moved on after that as the Udeaus hadn’t respawned yet.-

I let the others get some exercise in once we hit the under bridge floors as I couldn’t be bothered to constantly wipe out the level four monsters. Eventually though I got annoyed at how long they all were taking and did it anyways. We passed through the floor with the Balor since it was still on cooldown and finally stopped for the day on the fiftieth floor safe zone to rest for the night.-

“I don’t think we’ve ever gotten down this far so fast.” Gareth said in amazement while I was setting up the stew pot.

“I’d be surprised if you did with all that dead weight dragging you down.” I said casually.

“Watch it! That’s our familia you’re talking about.” Bete growled.

I shrugged “I’m right though aren’t I? How much faster could you all move without needing to constantly protect those with no business even getting near floors this deep?” I asked and the werewolf snorted but looked away.

“Someone has to carry the supplies and it’s obviously not us since we have to fight.” Riveria argued. 

“Yeah but how many people does that ACTUALLY need supplies for? Seven? eight maybe? The fact is your expeditions take more than half your familia each time when a mere fraction of you is all that’s needed, the rest are just burdens. Plain and simple.” I said seriously.

“All due respect for your strength but it’s none of your business how we run our familia.” Finn said with an edge to his tone.

I chuckled at that “I never said I was, just pointing out a fact in response to what he said” I said thumbing towards Gareth. “Plus you should watch your tone, I might take offense and we are oh so deep in the dungeon. Who can say what might happen?” I said with a friendly smile.
