“You are one UGLY motherfucker.” I said as I drew my weapon from my side to my right hand.

As if responding to my actions the right blade arm of the beast smoothly swished up and into a ready position perfectly vertically in front of it’s body.

I grinned “This is gonna be fun!” I said before launching myself at the beast as hard as I could cracking the ground I had been standing on.

The blade arm at the ready pierced forward towards me and I swung the blunt end of my weapon to meet it without skipping a beat. 

“BOOM!” 

A shockwave erupted as our full powers collided and sparks flew while neither of us fell back a single step, we were equal.

“CLANG, CLANG, CLANG, CLANG!”

We both moved on from that first test into a savage clash as both of us struck out with our attacks meeting in the air while devastating wind tore apart the area from the sheer speed and force behind our attacks. From an outside perspective we’d be seen blurring in place as our attacks moved faster than the normal eye could follow as we danced around each other.-

“SKKRRREEEEEEEEE!” The beast roared with a voice that sent chills down my spine before dark toxic smoke flowed out of it actively coiling on it’s blade arms and dripping off like acid.

“Hellfire!” I yelled as my flames roared to life on my body as I copied the beast.

My flames won.

The toxic smoke not attached to the beast was neutralized as fuel for my flames easily. But when my flames met the beast itself they were removed by the new toxins pushing out from it’s body. 

‘Fine then since I can’t burn you how about freezing?’ I thought as I blocked yet another attempt at decapitation.

“Helheim!” I yelled as I flipped over to my RCT without missing a beat.

Instantly my flames were replaced by a dreadful creeping frost that froze the toxins on contact. The beast retreated at this unlike with the flames which told me it was much more afraid of the cold than of heat. I charged the beast with my ice expanding at full blast around us freezing the land for miles as the beast actively refused to stop moving lest the ice cling to it.-

I wasn’t just forcing it back though but slowly raising the edges of the frozen area into a massive cage to trap it within. The beast somehow realized this and shot out of the frozen area with a mighty leap. “Tch!” I clicked my tongue at this but stopped wasting energy on the ice since clearly this wasn’t going to work.

“Fine then, No holding back anymore.” I said as I switched back over to my flames.

Instantly a black and blue inferno covered miles like Hell manifesting on earth as the heat rose to critical temperatures. The ground melted to flowing boiling molten rock while the sky cleared as the clouds overhead were burnt away.

“Peccatum Superbiae!” I yelled as my cursed energy roiled around my form and I a exploded towards the VERY caught off guard monster.

It swung one of it’s blade arms clearly expecting to stop my advance only for it’s arm to be forced aside and my weapon to be flipped to it’s sharp side and cleaved into it chest.

“SKREEE!” the beast roared in pain as I sliced a deep long gash from it’s humanoid shoulder down to it’s equine shoulder on the opposite side.

Black blood oozed out of the wound and my instincts warned me just in time to leap backwards as a sickly green colored flaming blade arm swung at me. I was sent crashing violently into a hill in the distance as I barely managed to block the attack in time. Once I righted myself I saw something that made me frown. The beasts muscles writhed grotesquely while it’s form shifted in a disgusting way VERY different then my own way of doing so, rough and forceful. The left blade arm moved over to the right side and seemed to fuse with it to create a massive two edged blade arm. –

The entire beasts body had also ignited into a green flame that pushed my own flames back from even touching the beast now. In an instant the beast flashed with a resounding “BOOM!” from it’s location to where I was and swung it’s new fused blade arm at me fully intent on bisecting me. I roared as I met it’s attack with my own, and lost. The strength of both blade arms being fused together over came my own strength and I was left with a deep gash on my left leg from the blade arm cutting me after moving past my weapon.-

That insidious green flame tried to burrow into my wound like a handful of maggots but I forced it back with my own flames as I stopped the bleeding to that area. the beast didn’t stop there however but pressed it’s advantage with a vicious rush of attacks. More and more injuries started to pile up on me as I was forced back and unable to fully deflect the damage anymore. All of my senses were pushed to their limit as I fend the beast off with my life looking for even a single opening I could exploit to win this.-

My cursed energy was starting to run low however with as much I had used to fend off those flames while keeping my own up to suppress it’s toxins. 

‘There!’ I thought as I used the force of a sideways slash from the beast to send myself flying out of it’s range.

It immediately moved to chase me unwilling to allow me any time to recover. It was too late however as I reached into my bag and took out the elixir I had bought just in case.-

The sparkling blue liquid shone slightly in it’s ornate crystal vial but I ignored that as I popped the top midair and downed the thing.

“BA-DUMP!” 

A sound like a massive heart beating filled the air as the elixir took effect immediately.
