“Mana core enables mages to store and conjure Mana at will and then release it to create spells, mages develop Mana core at the age of 5, and with time and training it expands till they can store enough Mana to burn down an entire city” Jessica explained.

“So you are trying to create a Mana core in an ordinary human enabling them to cast spells?”

“Yes and you are my first test subject”

“Huh! your first…what if it doesn’t work, you haven’t tried this before and you are starting with me, no thank you,” Alex said.

“I already perfected it so nothing is going to go wrong,” Jessica said.
