Three of his men moved into action and began to walk towards the group, they were heading towards the girls to take them away.

Rebecca was no exception as she was also dragged away by the men, she didn’t struggle much cause she saw the look on the boys’ faces and knew they were up to something.

The girls were dragged away and the leader of the bandits smiled and walked back into the forest.

When Lynx fired the marksman, one of the bandits dashed toward them and Alex and Max quickly reacted and struck him down, Alex pierced the throat of the bandit with his demon blade dealing a considerable amount of damage but Max got the last touch taking all the XP.

All the bandit brandished their weapons and stood in place, they were going to attack at once outnumbering Alex’s group.

Gabriel took the magic boost while Max took the strength potion, when Alex was gone both of them visited the potion shop and bought potions at a reduced price as they were the ones that completed Matthew’s task.

Zen quickly dashed out of the forest and saw the three of them holding weapons and one of his men on the ground dead, he knew his marksman would have fired by now except for one thing, he was dead.

“So what now,” Max asked.

“Who are you asking, we are clearly surrounded and you are asking me what now, what do you expect me to say” Alex shouted.

“Huh! You are the strongest one of us and the leader, you are supposed to have a plan?” Lynx said.

“Who made me the leader, if anyone of you has a plan, you better speak before they attack,” Alex said.

The bandits stared at the four of them in shock, they were clearly surrounded and they were shouting at one another if they had a plan, and from their talks, the guy with two daggers was their leader.

‘Then we just have to kill him’

“Attack…” Zen shouted and ten of the bandits in front swung into action.

“Gabriel make way, we’ll move into the forest” Alex shouted and Gabriel turned towards the forest.

Gabriel joined both of his hands together and from the palms of his hands, a large fireball shot toward the bandits blocking the forest.

When Alex shouted make way, the bandits weren’t sure what he meant cause they had no idea Gabriel was a mage, the bandits in front of the forest couldn’t react fast enough to dodge the fireball and the rest of the bandits stopped as they saw the large amount of flames Gabriel could produce.

The bandits shouted and ran in different directions as they were enveloped by the flames.

The magic boost potion was great except for one drawback, the amount of Mana used, Gabriel still didn’t have enough Mana to handle shooting a fireball of this size again but this is already enough for their escape.

The four of them dashed into the forest the moment all the bandits stopped, they moved in the opposite direction where the girls were taken making Zen wonder what they were doing.

“Go after them,” Zen shouted, if he lets them escape then they would surely come back for the girls and they would have the advantage then because it would be a surprise attack.

“Alex why are we running away, what about the girls?” Gabriel asked as they dashed through the forest.

“Let’s get away from sunlight then I’ll reduce their numbers then we’ll go back,” Alex said.

“Away from sunlight, then we would be able to see” Max shouted.

“Don’t worry I’ll take all of them down”

“I’m going this way,” Lynx spoke as he changed direction and moved sideways.

“Huh! Where are you going alone?” Max shouted.

“He’ll take care of himself, keep moving,” Alex said as the bandits were behind them, now that they were in the forest, they were not afraid of Gabriel’s fireballs cause they were lots of obstacles.

“Here,” Gabriel said as they ran into the darkness, large trees towered over them obstructing the sunlight, even though they wouldn’t be able to see, they trusted Alex and dashed in.
