She smiled.

Without waiting for a response, she walked to the door and opened it.

“This meeting is concluded. You’re dismissed.”

The four consorts stood slowly, their expressions ranging from furious to terrified.

As they filed out, Damien paused at the door.

“You’ve changed, Your Majesty,” he said quietly.

Heena looked at Damien with a disgusted expression. “Changed? Ha! From how many times you people have tried to undermine me, sabotage me, or outright harm me—if I didn’t change, I would be a complete fool.”
