Those earrings Yun Shu always wore were exactly the same as his eyes, a pair of ruby earrings. Bai Yunxian also used a pair of the same set of earring, though Yun Shu gave them to him to hide his gender, as a pair of artifacts.

The pair Yun Shu used does not have such effects, they are just your normal earrings, not any kind of artifact or anything.
