The chains gave off a ominous aura, Bai Yunxian felt the need to stay away from them as he approached the pillar with caution.

’I never encountered this place before, what is this place?’

As Bai Yunxian roamed around the room, he was inspecting every nook and corner, trying his best to find a way out of this place.

’Lord Yun… I don’t know if he is still out there, waiting for me. I must quickly find the way out to get to him.’

He wasn’t someone important for Bai Yunxian, so he didn’t have any reason to be polite towards him either.

“I’m this Celestial City’s owner! You don’t even know whose territory you are in yet you dare to charge inside? Don’t you have any regards for your life?”

The old man was enraged as he shouted at Bai Yunxian, whose demeanor has changed entirely compared to how he usually behaves around Yun Shu.

If Yun Shu were to see this noble and arrogant appearance, she wouldn’t be able to recognise him.

“Regard for my life? Heh, I’ve thrown these thoughts away a long time ago.” Bai Yunxian said as he didn’t go back or even flinch at the old man’s words.

The old man laughed hysterically as he combed his beard with fingers, looking at Bai Yunxian with eyes full of interest.

“Where are you going? You haven’t answered my question yet.” The old man seemed to be curious as he was peeking over Bai Yunxian’s shoulder, not giving up as he was throwing various questions at him.

“My companion is waiting for me outside, I have to get to him as soon as possible.” Bai Yunxian didn’t spare even a glance at the old man, which resulted in him throwing a tantrum and rage over the place.

“You are but a piece of soul now, I have no interest in an old geezer.” Bai Yunxian made a rude remark with the intention of making the old man lose his tail.
