As Mar-Yue retrieved her fist, Sol rubbed his nose, which was beginning to turn slightly red, as he said.

“That actually hurt quite a bit.”

Sol then looked at Mar-Yue with a bitter smile while taking notice of how she had grown in the past eight months.

Mar-Yue frowned.

“It’s your fault, I don’t like being scared like that.”

However, after saying that, Mar-Yue paused and looked Sol up and down with a confused expression.

“Where are your clothes?”

Sol recovered, however, seeing Mar-Yue’s reaction, he felt disappointed.

‘How come she’s not flustered? Is she putting on an act?’

Scratching his cheek, Sol said.

“Oh, I forgot them.”

The confusion on Mar-Yue’s face increased, but she placed it aside. She glanced at Sol’s hair which was so tall it reached the ground even while he was standing at full height.

“Why is your hair so long? Did you decide to not cut it?”

Mar-Yue stepped closer to Sol and lifted her hands to shift the strands of hair that were dangling in front of his face. She was about half a head shorter than Sol.

After tucking the strands behind Sol’s ears, Mar-Yue said softly.

“At least cut your bangs if you want to keep your hair long.”

Sol smiled and shook his head.

“No, I’ll cut it.”

But even though Sol was smiling, internally he was closely assessing Mar-Yue’s facial features.

Mar-Yue smiled at Sol’s words before she drew closer and hugged him.

It was obvious she was looking forward to meeting Sol after so long.

Sol hugged her back, but inside he was becoming more and more disappointed as he realized Mar-Yue wasn’t acting. She really wasn’t flustered.

Sol couldn’t help but blurt out.

“Are you not flustered by appearance?”

Hearing this, Mar-Yue took a step back out of Sol’s hold and looked at him with a face full of realization.

“Is that what you’re up to? Trying to make me embarrassed?”

Sol sighed and nodded dejectedly.

Mar-Yue suddenly looked amused as she looked down.

“Why would I be embarrassed seeing you without any close on? I’ve unfortunately seen my cousins run around naked an uncountable number of times in the Tribe while showing off their muscles that I’ve become used to it.”

Upon hearing that, Sol realized that his brilliant plan had been useless from the beginning.

“But why is it all shriveled up?”

Mar-Yue suddenly reached out and flickered her index finger.

“Ah!”

Sol took a step back and a blush crept up on his face.

“D-Don’t flick it.”

Mar-Yue upon seeing Sol’s reaction had her hand twitched. She smiled before suddenly taking a step forward and appeared in front of Sol, her hand reaching out in a grasping motion.

Sol’s face fell and he immediately dodged to the side as quick as lightning.

Taking several more steps back Sol stuttered nervously.

“He-Hey, that’s dangerous you know? What if I’m unable to use it in the future?”

Mar-Yue retracted her hand and smiled amusingly.

“Use it for what?”

“That-“

Sol paused and his face turned slightly red in embarrassment.

Mar-Yue giggled, which sounded like bell chimes. She then walked over to Sol.

Sol felt even more dejected seeing Mar-Yue laughing at his embarrassed reaction.

‘This isn’t how it’s supposed to go. Is that I’m not as good-looking as I thought?’

Sol would never claim he was better looking than anyone, but he had acknowledged that his looks were somewhat slightly above the average person.

However, Mar-Yue being unaffected by his charm was a significant blow to that notion he had held onto.

This was especially true considering this wasn’t the first time he was seen without clothes on by a girl.

‘Elder Sister Seon blushed, but Ha-Yoon and Mar-Yue didn’t react like that. Is it because they’re strange or maybe my appeal isn’t all that?’

As Sol was feeling dejected having his plan reversed on him, Mar-Yue stopped in front of him and said with a smile.

Sol said jokingly as he lifted his hand and flexed his muscles for emphasis.

Since Mar-Yue was unbothered then he wouldn’t be too.

However, Sol suddenly saw Mar-Yue lower her head. But she wasn’t fast enough, and he was able to see a slight blush that briefly appeared on her face.
