Sol looked up at Altair, eyes flickering.

Sol said shaking his head.

Altair’s smile seemed to grow wider as he said.

“I see, so that’s the extent of your abnormal comprehension skills.”

Glancing at Sol one final time, Altair added.

“Brother Sol, you’re not the only genius here, be careful of being overconfident in your abilities.”

Altair then rose into the air with a chantless spell before moving to catch up with Quilt. The tattoo of a ghoul covering half his face faded away.

Sol watched the two leave, a thoughtful look in his eyes. After a moment, he looked back down at the icicle.

“Interesting. He doesn’t want to reveal his skills for some reason, but it seems like he still has the pride of a genius to show me this.”

Sol then chuckled to himself.

“However, this much is still not enough to pressure me. I need a stronger grindstone.”
