The system’s spirit. A shiny, white, orb-like astral projection flickered around an enclosed space, carrying out the normal functions of the supreme system and inspecting its own operations.

Golden sigils and mysterious symbols floated everywhere around it, forming intricate patterns and mechanisms. They rotated slowly, interlocking and separating in an endless sea, each carrying fragments of laws that governed reality itself.

The system spirit was now working around a small green sigil, which represented the mental link established by William. The sigil shimmered faintly, like a fragile thread connecting two vastly different planes.

It coordinated several visual and auditory inputs and calibrated everything again, ensuring smooth functioning.

At some point, William will have to do a large-scale teleportation of his Clayman cult’s slaves into the domain of infinity; the system ensured that nothing went wrong when William did that.

“What the fuck!!!” Orion spat, looking at the talent that had just been awarded to William. Its glow dimmed for a split second.

Orion looked at the last message from the universe; if he had a mouth, he would surely puke blood on the spot.

“How do I explain this??” Orion thought as his astral form stopped thrashing around in frustration. His glow steadied, though it now flickered with lingering anxiety. Reluctantly, he broadcast selective notifications. The decision felt like walking on a razor’s edge.

Orion’s gaze shifted to the sigil in the distance, which broadcast William’s POV and was a medium for them to communicate. The sigil glowed brighter than the others.

He saw William seeing the notification and demanding answers. Even from this abstract plane, William’s curiosity was palpable.

In a panicked manner, Orion muted the sigil to think of something in peace.

Unfortunately, the only lie he could come up with later was to tell William that it was quite normal and that he had been busy with the monthly maintenance of the system. The excuse formed reluctantly, weak even in his own mind.

Which William literally took as a bullshit excuse.

Orion could only sigh in defeat, weighed down by guilt. He wanted to tell William that his own wife was responsible for such things, but he could not.

Winston entered the passage silently and walked towards the deepest and most cruel prison of the Holy Sun Empire. The Iron Hell prison, where special captives were kept. The walls were lined with dark metal, etched with faint glowing runes that pulsed ominously.

A few minutes later, Wiston arrived in the deep underground chamber. The space opened into a massive cavern filled with darkness.

At the center was a deep pit of lava radiating heat unbearable by mortals. The molten surface bubbled violently, casting flickering orange light that danced across the walls like restless spirits.

Winston walked towards a particular cellar to the right of the entrance and stepped in front of the mithril prison. The metal shimmered faintly, unyielding and sacred, forged to contain beings far beyond ordinary strength.

A sight of a woman came into his sight; sapphire blue hair and eyes stared back at him. Even in such a place, her presence felt regal, untouched by the degradation around her.

Winston chuckled. “Have you been enjoying your stay here, Empress Anasthasia Luneia Solaris?” he asked with a mocking smile. His voice dripped with amusement, though his eyes held something sharper.

Anasthasia sat in her blood-stained white robe, heavy chains the size of serpents coiled around her neck and hands, weighing down on her.

She had her head raised lightly from the previous meditative posture and looked at Winston’s figure standing in front of her.

Her stare contained the faint reflections of lava; she looked at Winston as if he were about to die soon. There was no fear, only certainty.

“Oh!! What’s this newfound fire I see in your eyes? Winston sneered, “Did you forget how I defeated your man in front of the whole world?? Hahaha, I can assure you confidently that he begged like a dog for my mercy.”

His laughter echoed across the chamber, distorted by the cavern into something almost monstrous.

Annasthasia looked at Winston with the same intensity. Her expression did not waver; her resolve remained unshaken.

“Winston, you should give up on trying to get into my head. I will tell you for the thousandth time, begging for mercy is not something those with the blood of the Solaris clan are capable of. There are only two choices for heirs of the Solaris blood on a battlefield.”

Her voice was steady at first, but beneath it burned a rising inferno.

She said while raising her voice a bit, making sure Winston remembers it forever, “They either bring death to their enemies or they welcome it with their heads raised.”

Her words struck the air like blades as if she were declaring a universal law.

Anne didn’t stop; her rage-filled voice echoed across the prison. The lava seemed to respond, bubbling more violently as if resonating with her fury.

“I saw your cowardice on the day when you tried to hide your defeat by killing a newborn; that’s your real face, pathetic swine with the soul of a demon.”

Each word carried venom, years of suppressed anger pouring out without restraint.

She cursed in rage before stopping, her hands clenched around a small bracelet hidden behind her long hair. That small object, fragile compared to everything else, was the only thing she held onto, a silent anchor amidst the darkness.

The chamber fell into a tense silence as Anasthasia’s words finished.
