Chapter 139: Honor student

The first day of the tournament.

It was a traditional event held every year by the two magic schools so the seats in the audience were already filled with spectators. Nems match with Tim Lloyd was on the first day, it was rare for the fighters in first place to fight this early but no one really cared.

This created another opportunity for Nem and two huge arms appeared in the sky. Cheers rose up from the audience as the two arms converged on Tim to not let him escape.

Nem slammed her hands down and the to giant arms followed the move and moved towards Tim. However at the moment that the arms touched him a dust cloud appeared and Nem raised her eyebrows confused. As the dust began to settle the shadow of a person became visible.

What?

The earth attribute magic was a surprise. As expected of someone in Nitos party, of all the students at this school Nem might be the only one able to use it.

As the dust cleared Tim became visible as he floated in the air.

If I hadnt used fly to avoid it I would have definitely been crushed.

That was the reason why Tim had climbed to the top of Fishnatica even though he was only able to use wind attribute magic. It was his ability to fly. However in Tims case it was not a skill, which is relatively common, it was instead magic. In short, Tim manipulated the air around him using magic allowing him to fly much faster than the skill and provided him with a wider range of movement while in the air.

This is how I was able to climb my way to the top.

Tim held his hand out over Nem who was still on the ground.

I have no blind spot here, sorry but you wont even be able to cast magic at me anymore. Youre going to be defeated one sidedly by my magic.

Tim smirked as he said this.

Three wind blades shot out towards Nem. The tore through the air but Nems expression didnt waver, in fact she appeared calm.
