Chapter 153: Blue Flames

The marching demon army didnt stop, they advanced forward with what looked to be some sort of moving fort in between them. It wasnt long before Oswald and the others caught sight of it.

That looks like where the leader is.

We dont know that yet so we cant act on it. Normally if you take out the leaders the battle would end but the demons may not operate in conjunction with human logic.

Braums shot lighting out and as it came into contact with the first person it arced to the left and then the right. It moved through the demons ranks like a snake slithered on the ground.

The knights that wore golden armor were swinging their swords alongside Schneiser. This was another reason the king was called eccentric, there werent many kings who would fight alongside their knights.

Red magic circles appeared at the feet of many of the demons and tornadoes of flame shot up from the ground.

When someone shouted several mages attempted to create a wall of water but there werent enough of them.

Ichijo shot a jet of water into the tornado. When it hit the tornado erupted into a tremendous amount of steam and went out but it didnt make much of a difference. The demons were summoning the tornadoes one after another and the more that Ichijo erased the more that appeared.

Hero! Leave the defense to me and aim at the casters!

If they got surrounded they would be finished so everyone had no choice but to try and prevent this outcome with long range magic. In the next moment some of the mages on the far left of the battlefield were turned to ash while demons had gotten close enough to stab others. Morale was dropping fast.
