My eyes opened and slowly, I came to my feet as the empty vial rolled across the ground.

Thats right, somehow I was not dead, it seemed that the voice didnt want to kill me after all. As I stood there I realized rather suddenly that, I wasnt afraid anymore, more than that I could see. It seemed that my eyes had grown used to the darkness.

I picked up the torch and took a look around.
