Lana tilted her head, staring at him with her deep blue eyes.

“Stubborn to the core, intelligent and talented to the point that even heaven might get jealous, and witty and cheerful to the point that everyone gets attracted to her,” Lucian whispered; his blue eyes seemed to recall something, a slow smile forming on his lips.

“However… just like me… it’s a mask she wears.” His voice shone with an unspoken confidence, “Afraid to let anyone near her, having thorns, and fearing deep attachment. She wants to belong somewhere, but the constant betrayal made her cower.”
