With slight struggle, he turned and looked at Lana, whose eyes were closed, and shook his head in dismay, “And she says she will care about my babies… Sigh! What a troublesome girl!”

Using his psychic power, Mr. Crow placed Lana on her bed and covered her with the blankets again.

Lying beside her, he sighed before closing his eyes. Unconsciously in his sleep, his wing touched Lana’s hand, and the slight frown on his face vanished.

As if… Lana was the haven he subconsciously sought, while Lana too smiled in her sleep.
