He grabbed Lyra under her thighs with one arm and Selena around her waist with the other and lifted them both off their chairs. Lyra screamed and wrapped her arms around his neck. Selena laughed and dug her nails into his back hard enough to leave marks.

He carried them through the narrow doorway into the back bedroom where the old bed frame had been replaced with a massive floor bed covered in thick pelts and soft blankets. A stick of elf incense burned in the corner filling the room with a sweet hazy smoke.

Eren patted her head and acted like she was a little vulnerable girl. But now she was his woman and he could act like whatever he enjoyed.

A month ago he would’ve been shocked at himself for even thinking that. Right now he didn’t give a shit.
