Chapter 91: Ch:91 Forms of Thunder
The boss roared at Marco, a sound that seemed to taunt him into revealing his full power.
Yet Marco remained calm and steady, unleashing thunderbolt after thunderbolt at the boss. When two struck at once, the impact erupted outward, the lightning scattering into a wide cone of crackling energy.
Until now, Marco had revealed the first, third, and fourth basic forms of thunder—though the shamans hadn’t yet realized it.
“Status,” Daniel whispered, his brow furrowed in curiosity.

’Fuck… what should I do?’ Daniel thought, his mind racing.
Daniel faced a dilemma; he could either wait and risk something terrible happening to them, or warn Marco about the situation—though doing so might draw unwanted attention, something he desperately wanted to avoid.
“Status,” he whispered, his eyes fixed on Marco.

————————
Daniel thought deeply and chose to remain silent.
Marco continued unleashing thunderbolt after thunderbolt, but no matter how fiercely he attacked, he couldn’t stop the boss from advancing toward the center.
The moment it reached the heart of the chamber, the shamans fell within its range.
“BHAAA… KHAAA!!”
The boss roared even louder, its bellow echoing throughout the chamber. From the side corners, two trees were ripped from their roots and hurled toward the shamans the instant it sensed them within its range.
“Oh no!” Marco shouted, hurling another bolt of lightning toward the tree.
*BOOM!*
Although the tree was destroyed, razor-sharp wooden fragments scattered toward them.
The guard raised his shield to intercept the debris, while Belinda’s palm began to glow as she lifted her hand. A wall of swirling sand rose before them, blocking the incoming splinters.
*Tk-Tk-Tk*
“My lord! What is happening?” the guard shouted, rushing toward Marco.
“There’s something wrong with this boss!” Marco barked, lightning still crackling around his hand.
“Marco, it’s behaving differently,” Belinda said, lowering her sand wall as the swirling grains collapsed back to the floor.
Without hesitation, she stepped onto the battlefield, her palm glowing green as energy pulsed around her fingers. The guard charged to the center and slammed his spear against his shield with a resounding clang.
*Clang-Clang-Clang*
To the shamans surprise, the boss slowly turned its head toward the guard instead of Marco.
It had been taunted.
“What was that? for a second, I felt we’re about to die,” Molex said, his voice trembling.
“Should we join Master?” Bernard asked, clenching his fist.
“I don’t know about you but I’m going in,” Daniel said in a steady tone.
Bernard smirked to himself at the sight. Some of the shamans shifted uneasily, worry tightening their faces, others openly frightened. But Daniel didn’t wait for hesitation to spread—he stepped forward without a word.
’I don’t care if I get punished but this boss, this should be killed quick or we all going to die,’ Daniel thought as he sprinted forward, sparks bursting from his palm.
*BZZ-BOOM!*
Daniel hurled a bolt of lightning. It struck the creature’s jaw with a sharp crack of thunder. The boss’s head snapped toward him, fury blazing in its eyes—but before it could retaliate, the guard slammed its shield and taunted it—dragging its attention away once more.
“Huh? Daniel! Get back! You aren’t ready for this!” Marco shouted, waving him away.
“Forgive me, Master, for my insolence,” Daniel said, steady despite the chaos. “But I want to fight beside you.”
Daniel’s palm crackled with sparks as he spoke. Before he could unleash another bolt, Belinda stepped forward, cutting off his path and blocking his view.
“Didn’t you hear him? You can’t interfere in this situation,” Belinda said, her voice sharp with authority.
*BANG!*
The boss brought both fists crashing down in a vertical slam. The guard twisted away from the right, but the left smashed into his shield with brutal force. The impact drove him backward, boots grinding against the ground as a cloud of dust billowed up and slowly settled around them.
“I’m fine,” the guard shouted.
Before the dust could settle, another thunderbolt tore through the air from afar and struck the boss in a blinding flash.
*BZZ! BOOM! BOOM!*
It was Bernard’s thunderbolt, crashing into the boss just after Marco’s had struck, the two blasts colliding in a burst of crackling light.
“I feel like this is the right thing to do, right now, right here,” Bernard murmured, lightning gathering once more in his palm as he prepared another strike.
Belinda’s eyes flicked toward Bernard—but in that split second, Daniel slipped past her and surged forward, lightning coiling around his palm.
“Stop—” she called, lunging after him and seizing his right arm before he could release the thunderbolt.
The moment she touched his arm, a sudden molten heat flared deep in her core, her words perished in her throat, and her cheeks burned soft red as she held on.
*BZZ-BOOM*
*BZZ-BOOM*
*BZZ-BOOM*
“Master, we also want to fight!”
“Take this, you monster!”
“Take this! Aaaah!”
The other shamans roared and rushed forward. Whatever restraint they had left shattered as their fighting instincts took over, seizing control of both mind and body.
The boss raised its arms and blocked some of the incoming thunderbolts. Even so, the constant attacks pushed it back two steps as bolts of lightning struck its body again and again and again.
Daniel turned his gaze to her. “Lady Belinda, remove my hand.”
Daniel grabbed her arm with his other hand, but the instant his fingers closed around it, he saw her bite her lower lip—so visibly that he knew his voodoo doll had seized her lewd mind.
