After Iruka left, Kitazawa sat at his desk, hands clasped in front of his nose, deep in thought.

Training with him felt like walking on needles.

She was already quiet by nature, but under her father’s relentless pressure, her performance suffered even more.

But Kitazawa… his teaching felt different. Gentler. Warmer.

If only someone like him had been her tutor… Maybe she wouldn’t feel so small all the time.

But no—she quickly shook her head, dispelling the fantasy.

As the daughter of the Hyuga Clan, she couldn’t afford such foolish dreams.

Her world didn’t allow room for “what ifs.”
