Clementine rolled her shoulders. “Don’t take it too personally.” She flicked her gaze toward Alex. “Besides, he made me an offer I couldn’t refuse.”

Alex smirked. “And she was smart enough to accept it.” His gaze shifted to Solution. “Now then…”

Solution, who had been watching the exchange with an amused smile, perked up as Alex turned to her.

“Finish this.”

Solution’s expression twisted into something eerily delighted. She placed a hand on her cheek, her golden eyes gleaming. “Oh my… Alex-sama, you truly know how to make a girl happy.”

Khajiit gritted his teeth. “You dare underestimate me!?” He roared, his fingers clutching his staff tightly. “I still have my creations!” He pointed at the two skeletal dragons beside him. “You cannot possibly—”

Solution took a step forward.

And then she changed.

Her humanoid form melted away, her body twisting and expanding into an amorphous mass of writhing slime. Her dress, adventurer’s dress, dissolved into her body, and what was left was a towering, semi-transparent creature. The air filled with an unnatural squelching sound as countless tendrils sprouted from her shifting form.

Khajiit stumbled back in horror. “What… what are you!?”

Solution did not answer with words.

Her tendrils shot forward.

The skeletal dragons, massive as they were, barely had time to react. Solution’s body expanded, swallowing them whole. The bones sizzled as they dissolved inside her, the dark magic rendering them utterly useless against her acidic composition. The dragons let out soundless roars before vanishing into bubbling sludge.

Khajiit’s horror turned into panic. “No! NO! THIS CAN’T BE HAPPENING!”

Solution’s attention turned to him.

Countless tendrils rushed forward, wrapping around his limbs. He screamed as they coiled around his body, tightening like hungry serpents.

Solution pulled.

His flesh began to dissolve instantly. His robes, his magic, his very existence was reduced to nothing. His screams were choked as his throat melted, his arms disintegrated, and his body vanished into Solution’s acidic form.

Within seconds, Khajiit was gone.

The graveyard, once filled with undead and the booming presence of skeletal dragons, was now eerily silent. The only sound was the slow shifting of Solution’s slime as she returned to her humanoid form.

She smoothed out her uniform and placed a hand over her stomach. “Mmm~ He was unpleasant, but at least he had some magical essence in him.” She sighed contently before turning back to Alex. “That was fun, Alex-sama. Shall we head back?”

Clementine, who had been watching with wide eyes, finally spoke. “What… what kind of monster is she?”

Alex chuckled, glancing at Solution. “A rather efficient one.”

Solution smiled innocently. “Ara, ara~ Clementine-san, you wound me. I’m just a humble servant of my beloved master.”

Clementine shuddered.

She was used to monsters. She had killed countless people, fought strong opponents, and relished the thrill of battle.
