Chapter 508: A Plan for a Potential Future

“What the hell was that?” I say, surprised by what just happened—the entire sea of Pandora’s consciousness has been isolated.

(H-Huh? What happened?) Tiny Pandora asks, frightened, and even the monster Pandora hidden in that one protected corner trembles, sensing that we’ve been cut off from the body.

’What the hell did Pandora do? Why were we isolated from the body?’ I try to access Pandora’s most recent memories. I was so busy trying to consume the whole sea of consciousness that I ignored the outside.

“C-Captured!! And by a powerful monster, no less?” I see that Pandora has been captured, and surprisingly, she came up with a brilliant idea—isolating her mind inside some kind of cocoon.

’I can’t see her…’ I can’t find Pandora. I don’t even know how this affected us, but we were also cut off from the body. It protects us, but it also prevents us from interacting with the outside.

And of course, part of that hatred is mainly because Elysia hurt our mother, the Goddess of the Abyss.

“Well, well, I’ve found out what happened. Now let’s get back to what we were doing.” I say, stepping on Tiny Pandora’s tail as she shrinks back. She’s been doing everything to delay my arrival at Pandora Monster.

“…You know, Pandora, you can just call me Mnemosyne.” I say to the Pandora in front of me, whose mouth is covered while tentacles hold her in place.

“Not that you can talk right now, but you know how it is, right? Don’t hate me for this. Survival is survival.” I say, stroking Pandora’s cheek. She attacks me with her tail, but my tentacle catches it.

’Strange… she seems… better than Azraelith…’ She’s weak, but the potential she shows is clearly greater.

“Urgh, so complex…” I almost touch something I shouldn’t, which would make her transform. Pandora starts releasing darkness around her, seeming to react, trying to stop me.

“…” I inject aphrodisiacs directly into her brain—a dose so potent it makes her brain freeze. Pandora’s brain is complex but has a “flaw”: when overloaded, it freezes, processes everything slowly, and then releases again.

This makes her get “stuck” when suffering sensory overload, like now, where her body stops moving or trying to defend itself. I look down, seeing her soaking the floor with her love juice.

“It’s sweet, right? I’m an expert in poisons, drugs, and potions. My aphrodisiac is so potent I once even managed to get the Goddess of the Abyss excited.” The tentacles in her nose release a powerful calming drug in gas form.

Pandora’s eyes go partially blank for a moment while I work on her brain, remapping everything to act as I want. The main change is what she will know as mother.

Pandora has great love for the Goddess of the Abyss, as well as an inability to betray her. So, if she sees me as her mother, she’ll be obedient. Of course, I make several other changes too.

“…” Her brain is now covered with my tentacles, sticking to every little corner. But while modifying her head, I find something strange.

’Her mind… what is that little thing?’ Entering her mind, I see several things, but there’s a small thing, like a little black ball, that I can’t access. It seems like some kind of cocoon in her mind, but when I try to touch it, Pandora reacts, and I realize I don’t have much time.

“Well, it probably doesn’t matter.” I need to finish quickly before she suffers severe mental damage and starts bleeding heavily. So, I speed up the process, tweaking her memories, leaving everything perfectly set for me.

“Great… this…” My fingers/tentacles separate from my hands, entering completely inside her head, staying there to maintain the information being sent to me.

I remove all the external tentacles holding Pandora, and she collapses on the floor, drooling and spasming.

“Well, I guess that was expected…” I take her hand and start dragging her. She’s not perfect yet. She’ll have memory lapses, and during those lapses, she’ll regain consciousness and control for brief moments before forgetting everything and thinking I’m her mother.

“I need to give her a trigger to always stay controlled… don’t worry, Pandora. I’ll feed you well and satisfy all your desires—even your questions. You can ask Mommy here anything you want, and I’ll answer.” I murmur excitedly about this. The more questions she asks, the more reliable I’ll become to her brain.

“Now… I need to hide you really well…” I know Echidna well, and I know Pandora is her favorite. If Echidna-sama finds out I captured Pandora, she might try to kill me.

So, there are still big secrets related to that to be revealed, and what better way to reveal them about others’ bodies than through a tentacle monster?
