Chapter 219: Brave or Crazy (M)
Not like there was a grand plan.
If anything, it was probably just something that stuck with him since earlier, when Kael’s fingers had first slipped into his mouth.
It was a strange thing to fixate on, but it had stuck.
Then again, the real question was when they’d ever make it to the next step, considering Riley had only managed to get his golden dragon halfway back into the chair.
At best, Kael leaned against it lazily, but the look in his eyes was anything but. He was half-seated, half-ready to pounce, long legs spread just enough to keep his balance. And between them stood Riley, who barely reached eye level even like this.
That position alone was dangerous.
Almost eye level, almost equal. Almost.
But not quite.
Because right now, with lips locked and waist held firmly by the dragon lord, the poor demonstrator was in a full battle of tongues.
It started when their mouths crashed together, and Kael gripped Riley by the waist, dragging him closer until their bodies were pressed together.
“Mmph…!”
The dragon’s fingers zeroed in on that thin silk fabric on his twig’s body like he wanted it gone through sheer will. While his other hand came up, sliding to the back of Riley’s neck, tilting his head back just enough for Kael to deepen the kiss.
And Riley let him.
The kiss grew messy. Desperate.
Their breaths tangled as Kael’s tongue slipped past his lips, slow at first, then demanding. The enamored human responded in kind, pushing back, tasting him, losing himself to the heat that poured off the dragon’s body like fire under skin.
Kael’s hand tightened around his waist once again. The other slid down, fingers spreading over the small of his back, pulling him in until their bodies met—chest to chest, heat to heat.
Riley gasped, but it only gave the golden dragon more room to steal another kiss.
But instead of running away, the courageous human pushed up against him, hands sliding up the predator’s chest to cup his jaw and pull him deeper into the kiss.
The response was surprising for the dragon, who didn’t want to let go.
But the way his twig clung to him was both a comfort and a torment.
Kael groaned into Riley’s mouth and pressed him harder against the armchair until the dazed mortal was practically straddling his thigh.
And there was no mistaking it.
Because like this, the flushed aide could definitely feel Kael’s member—hard and heavy—against his own.
It made his head spin.
Moreover, it made him want to move his hips slightly, just to maybe ease that unbearable need to be closer.
Not that it helped, because the moment he acted on that desire, his hardened peaks—still sensitive from earlier—brushed against the firm lines of the dragon lord’s body.
“Haa—! Ahh!”
It took everything in Kael’s power not to just pounce. He clenched his hand into a fist against his human’s hip, barely restraining that tremor in him.
But their shafts brushed once again, and this unguarded human moaned into his mouth, the sound soft and desperate.
And that did it.
Strong arms locked around that slender waist, dragging him even closer. Their hips met, the friction of silk and skin sending sparks and a shudder through Riley.
It was unbearable, heat and texture swirling until he could barely stand still.
So he reached down, decisive even with his trembling hand.
His fingers lightly brushed against Kael’s thick, pulsing shaft. And for some reason, even Riley’s breath hitched.
It was hot to the touch, even hotter than the rest of the dragon lord’s body.
Already slick with precum, the head pulsed against his palm, and the daredevil with a death wish had to swallow the sheer absurdity of what he was doing.
He wrapped his hand around it, hesitantly at first—then firmer, testing the weight. “Hah…,” he muttered, more to himself than anyone else.
Kael let out a low growl, his eyes narrowing as Riley began to stroke him slowly.
Maybe the unassuming mortal was really possessed, because instead of retreating to safety, Kael’s growl only encouraged him further.
He couldn’t even look at anything else.
He was too focused, watching his thumb gingerly smear the clear fluid in slow, uncertain circles across the swollen head.
When Kael’s hips tensed—just slightly—the insane mortal dared to do it again.
“Brave,” muttered the dragon lord, fingers tightening around his human’s waist. “Or Crazy.”
“Both,” Riley said faintly, then added under his breath, “definitely both.”
But he didn’t stop.
If anything, he was emboldened by the way Kael’s breath hitched, the way heat surged beneath his skin like a warning. Like power barely held in check.
Riley leaned in, mouth grazing the side of Kael’s neck, lips brushing the pulse beneath that skin already marred by his mark.
He kissed there reverently.
Then did it again, lower this time, trailing toward the collarbone like he was trying to leave more marks that wouldn’t burn off.
Maybe it was his own form of compensation, but the human moved like he needed to be nowhere and everywhere on Kael all at once. So not only with his mouth, but his hand’s rhythm also picked up.
Riley’s hand moved in steady, deliberate strokes, each motion tracing the heat pulsing beneath his palm as the air thickened with the sharp, musky scent of arousal.
It was intoxicating.
And it left the human aching for more.
But as if the dragon sensed that need, Kael allowed for all of it, tilting his head back to give Riley better access.
In exchange, his hands roamed over his mortal’s slender body, exploring every inch of exposed skin.
The tension between them was electric, a crackling energy that threatened to ignite at any moment.
And sure enough, it did.
Because the dragon lord dared to touch Riley just the same.
It was over his pants, but the heat that flared made him take a sharp breath before bracing himself against Kael’s sturdy chest. The hand was bold, palm wide and warm, cupping him through the thin fabric with a grip that left no room for denial.
The flustered human’s hips twitched instinctively. His knees nearly gave out.
And that was when the poor mortal realized the absolute truth: if the dragon lord continued, there wouldn’t be any stopping it.
His body was already reacting, his breath coming short, and the only way to keep himself from crumbling was to move. So Riley, still trembling from that simple touch, pushed back slowly.
He placed a hand on Kael’s thighs, lowering himself with deliberate care. This time, he didn’t look away.
His eyes met those slitted golden eyes as he knelt, breath shallow, heart thundering. Even like this, with his face flushed and knees touching the floor, he wanted Kael to know it wasn’t out of obligation.
It was because he chose this.
And because he needed to show the anxious dragon just how far he was willing to go for him, even as boyfriends.
So, with trembling fingers still curled on Kael’s thigh, Riley tilted his head at him and asked softly, “Kael… can I take this first kiss too?”
His voice was quiet. But clear. The kind of question that asked for consent and held something sacred in the asking.
For a moment, the world stilled.
Kael’s golden gaze darkened, heat and restraint flickering behind those ancient eyes.
When he finally spoke, his voice was a low command that vibrated through the air.
“Take everything.”
There was no hesitation, no quantifications, no qualifications—just everything.
Kael’s fingers framed Riley’s face, thumb brushing over his lower lip before guiding his chin closer.
And Riley, burning at the ears and fighting the instinct to look away, leaned forward and pressed his lips to the tip of Kael’s member like it really was a kiss.
Soft. Careful. Reverent.
And then he opened his mouth and took him in.
