They were all different things, and yet for one Riley Hale Dravaryn, a black dragon who was most definitely not single and couldn’t possibly ever mingle, all of it just translated to devouring.

Screeching “no” or “stop” would’ve been a difficult task for beings like them. While Riley had never been the type to say no when he clearly meant yes, even playing coy wouldn’t work when Kael could definitely see through him.

While they wouldn’t really feel every emotion or sensation the other felt, the moment it became heightened, consider it sent over.

So, what to do when, every time they were next to each other, everything just felt extremely heightened?

He couldn’t see Kael from where he was, not with his back turned like that, but none of that mattered when he could hear every wet squelch and feel every heavy, rhythmic thrust.

Naturally, the golden dragon had responded the way any dangerously tempted mate would. Kael had leaned down and crushed his mouth against Riley’s, his tongue pressing forward in search of permission.

Which, quite frankly, he received immediately.

Riley hadn’t merely allowed it. If anything, he had made the situation much worse. Because after they had separated for that brief moment earlier, he had been the one to hook a leg around Kael’s waist. Then, as if that alone wasn’t enough, he had dragged his own hardened shaft against his mate’s length in a slow, deliberate rub that practically screamed for more.

So yes.

The self-confessed degenerate had very much brought this upon himself.

He had ground his hips upward into Kael’s touch, teasing and testing the limits of the dragon’s restraint until that restraint finally snapped. And this time, it snapped for good.

After all the long wait and after everything they’d gone through, there was simply no way Kael would once again walk away from that without collecting what had been so boldly offered. Not anymore.

Which was how Riley ended up where he was now.

Face pressed helplessly into the pillow as Kael took him from behind with a kind of primal focus that left very little room for mercy.

Each thrust was heavy and deliberate, a sliding weight that filled Riley to the point where he could barely think. The stretch was intense, almost overwhelming, until he could feel the steady pulse of Kael’s veins inside him every time the dragon pushed deep.

The friction alone was enough to make his head spin.
