Chapter 222: The Devout Student (M)
“Show me.”
It was as if Riley even needed help when he was already that close.
But Kael’s voice—low, rich, reverent—was the final nail in the coffin.
And Riley, completely under Kael’s thumb, didn’t just move; he offered.
His back arched as he threw himself into the gaze, letting the raw, possessive hunger in those golden eyes consume him. His hand then gripped tighter and stroked with feverish desperation. The flushed head of his shaft glistened in the low light, and every breath he took came out broken, sharp, and needy.
“Ah—Kael…!”
He cried out.
Loudly.
His entire body convulsed with it. Back practically bowing off the desk, head thrown back, lips parted in a scream that tore through the room.
“Kael—!”
The dragon lord’s name was a desperate, shattering cry ripped from his chest, an involuntary plea as his climax hit.
And it hit hard. His vision blanked for a second. White-hot pleasure coursed through him in waves, thick ropes spilling across his stomach and chest as his hand and body kept on trembling.
Somewhere on the wall behind them, the enchanted torchlight flickered violently—then burst.
But Kael didn’t flinch. Didn’t look away.
The dragon lord’s pupils constricted, slits narrowing, breath caught mid-inhale as he watched every single second unfold.
He drank it in. The sight of Riley, undone, panting, spent, flushed, and open. A beautiful offering laid bare. His mortal, his match, his mate.
But more than anything, his name, which still practically vibrated in the air, was the final weight that broke the dragon’s restraint.
His mate called for him.
So how could he not answer?
Kael didn’t move from where he sat.
He didn’t really have to.
Not when Riley was already sprawled so temptingly across the desk in front of him, one leg resting on the armrest, the other already bent so close. The distance between them was practically nothing—just air, thick with heat and tension.
So the dragon barely shifted in his seat, the creak of strained craftsmanship groaning under his weight. The luxurious seat, once proud and pristine, now bore visible dents across the backrest and arms—proof of the dragon lord’s earlier restraint.
His golden eyes never left Riley.
He leaned forward.
One hand initially gripped the desk’s edge, but before long, both hands reached out—large, warm, steady—sliding along Riley’s inner thigh. He parted them without force, fingers spreading him wider with reverent ease.
The chair groaned again, violently this time.
And still, Kael didn’t take.
Not yet.
But then, lowering himself between those trembling thighs—mouth just shy of where Riley was still twitching—he murmured as if praying aloud to a god who wouldn’t dare answer.
“I see… It’s a pity I am a weak learner.”
“…?” Riley blinked, eyes glassy and chest still heaving, utterly wrecked from that fresh orgasm.
But the dragon tilted his head slightly, his golden eyes flickering with amusement and something far darker as his voice dipped lower.
“It seems that for someone like me… hands-on learning would work best.” he said, licking his inner thigh and further confusing the panting mortal.
“Huh—Kael… wait…” Riley couldn’t understand what he was muttering. But if he could, then he would’ve called bullshit.
Then again, something like that would’ve only been possible for someone whose mind was functional instead of mush.
And at that point, that was very much the opposite of Riley Hale, the dubious human who had lived for twenty-five short years, and was only finally experiencing what it was like to have someone’s tongue on his shaft.
“Haa—!”
And it took everything in him not to cum again.
His body jerked as the contact sent lightning shooting through his core. It was too much. Too soon. Too everything.
But in fairness to the poor mortal, he had tried to contain himself by closing his legs on instinct. Hoping that maybe in doing so, he would be able to escape that unbearable sensitivity, but the dragon’s large hands were already there, gripping his inner thighs and holding him in place. Firm. Unyielding.
There would be no retreat.
Only surrender.
Riley whimpered, voice raw as his fingers clawed helplessly at the desk, before tangling in Kael’s hair when those lips took him in deeper. And deeper still.
“G—God…!”
Maybe today was the day he’d die.
Riley’s breath hitched, a small, choked sound as he watched Kael’s head lower, the dragon’s mouth taking him in deeper, sucking with that feigned weak learner’s expertise that stole the air from his lungs.
Weak? Weak my ass!
“Hnngh…ahhh!”
The dragon’s mouth was warm, slick, insistent. And worse, Kael looked up while doing it.
Looked.
Staring shamelessly up at the human while he completely devoured him.
And in those eyes were reverence, hunger, and what he could definitely feel was maddening, focused devotion.
Riley lost his mind.
He was agonizingly sensitive, his nerve endings still frayed and exposed from his earlier climax. And that deep, full suck sent a wave of uncontrollable ecstasy through his core.
He was still upright at first, barely holding himself on shaking arms. But each suck, each flick of Kael’s tongue, each possessive hum that vibrated around him had him sliding back and arching into a deep, desperate curve.
Until he ended up sprawled across the desk, utterly open, serving everything up to Kael.
His hips moved on their own, bucking up urgently against the dragon’s mouth in a sheer, frantic blend of ecstasy and desperation. Riley chased release once again, even when he thought he couldn’t possibly take more.
Ah. But he could.
He definitely could.
“Oh fuck—Kael—ah—!”
His thighs trembled as his back arched again, higher this time, fingers yanking hard at Kael’s hair as if to anchor himself—only to fall apart again, mouth releasing a string of helpless, breathless moans.
He came.
Hard.
Harder than the first time. Harder than he ever had in his life.
His body writhed, toes curling, legs shaking as he spilled into Kael’s mouth with a cry that echoed against the walls.
His name. Again.
“Kael—!”
And the dragon, ever the devout student, swallowed every drop.
