Chapter 100: Blurred Lines
Solomon had never paid such close attention to a person, and yet not heard a single thing that they’d said at the same time.
The kiss the two had shared in the closet was dangerous.
It had single-handedly stoked a fire inside Solomon that would not so easily be ignored.
The dull, rolling heat that settled below his abdomen only fueled his wandering eyes and enticing memories.
He raked his gaze over every single inch of her human disguise.
She was a beautiful, curvaceous figure. More of a work of art than a simple woman.
Solomon felt a minor satisfaction in knowing that he was the only one here who had gotten to see her true, beautiful face.
He was thankful that Yari’s class wasn’t one where they were asked to stand up and speak.
Time went by at a snail’s pace for Solomon, though he wouldn’t complain about that.
Though when class inevitably ended, he was more than simply a little bit thrilled.
He got up slowly with the other students, walked out of the classroom, only to return a mere ten minutes later when no one else was around.
Yari shut the door behind him and sealed it with magic.
Walking towards her, Solomon begins pulling off his shirt.
…Only for Yari to grab him by his nipple and twist it hard.
“Ow!” Solomon winces. “What was that for?!”
“You think I couldn’t tell you weren’t paying attention in class?” Yari frowns at him with folded arms.
“…I was paying attention.”
“Oh. Then by all means, please feel free to recite any of the vast magical wisdom that I have shared with you today.”
Solomon smiles wryly.
“As I expected…” Yari releases a deeply troubled sigh as she walks back to her desk.
“This…thing between us. I need to be able to keep it separate from my role as an educator. You must listen to me. You’re already taking on double the workload compared to other students.
Do you wish for them to laugh and mock you when you fall behind, and say that you have overestimated your own competence? You would not be the first anomaly with raw talent to fall from grace here, I assure you.”
Solomon suddenly felt monumentally guilty.
“You have my sincerest apologies.” Solomon pulls his shirt back on and steps over to Yari’s desk.
“I can see how my actions could be considered disrespectful. That was not my intent.”
Gently, Solomon cups Yari’s face in his hand and tilts her chin upward.
“You are one of the most exquisitely beautiful creatures I have ever seen. Even the slightest sight of you sets my nerves on fire and makes me feel as though I’m suffocating.”
Yari looks away, her face warming. “You would likely say the same thing to Jiaoying.”
“And you would not?”
“…This is not about me.” Yari huffs.
“…Indeed not.”
Solomon drops to one knee in front of Yari and takes both of her hands.
“I have an immense respect for you as an educator. Please believe me when I say that I will not blur the lines between us again.”
There was nothing in the world that Yari wanted to hear more. She resisted the urge to embrace Solomon and kiss him once again.
“…I’m afraid it will take more than flowery words to move me.”
Her words were a blatant lie. She was already very moved.
“If you want my forgiveness… Supplementary lessons. Starting right now.”
Truthfully, Solomon wanted to go back to his room and sleep.
But he would not miss the opportunity to spend more time with Yari. Whether as her student or as her lover.
“…I’ll leave myself in your care then.”
–
It was late at night when Jiaoying got back to the academy.
Her clothes were dirty, she reeked of sweat, her skin was covered in dirt and grime, and her feet were dreadfully sore.
’…That was a nice little vacation. I love the savage realm.’ She smiles to herself.
After a long period of physical exertion, nothing felt better than finally getting a bit of relief and a return to comfort.
Jiaoying had no doubts that when she finally got into a bath, the experience would be positively orgasmic.
“…”
Suddenly, she comes to a stop in the hallway.
She glances in the direction of a familiar set of doors, and her heartbeat quickens.
Without realizing it, she starts to head in that direction before catching a whiff of herself.
“…Right. Bath first.”
Jiaoying breaks into a full sprint and races back to her quarters.
Twenty minutes and a change of clothes later, Jiaoying is glowing like a sun-kissed flower.
The floral aroma wafting off her skin is intoxicatingly sweet. The clothes adorning her body are feminine, but reveal her toned stomach and arms, betraying her power.
Knowing Yari would still be working this late, she practically skipped towards her classroom.
Upon reaching the door, she knocked three times before waiting with her hands behind her back.
Slowly, the door creaks open, and she steps inside.
The classroom was dark, illuminated only by a series of floating candles around the room.
She found Yari sitting at her desk in front of an open book and some materials. The smile she gave her was one of immense relief.
“…Welcome back. Close the door.”
Jiaoying obliges and locks the door behind her.
As soon as the latch falls, Solomon pokes his head out from behind a desk like a groundhog.
Jiaoying cannot resist the urge to laugh. “It is wonderful to know that you are capable of hiding yourself if the need arises.”
Solomon scratches the back of his head as he stands up to meet her.
“I figured it was better to be safe than sorry.”
“Swift thinking.” Jiaoying smiles seductively as she steps toward him. “Worthy of a reward, I’d say.”
“Would you now..?”
“Indeed.”
Before their lips can connect, Yari inserts her hand between them.
“Apologies, but we’re studying right now. No distractions.”
Jiaoying smiles at her. “Just him, or you…?”
“Obviously, I am the one doing the teaching.”
“Just checking.”
Jiaoying takes Yari’s face in her hands and kisses her warmly.
It is a shocking development for the elf, but not at all unwelcome.
When they pull apart, Yari’s eyes are slightly glossy as she savors the taste of Jiaoying’s lips and tongue.
“Perhaps… we’ve done enough for the night.” She says breathlessly.
Solomon glances out the window into the knight’s forest.
“It’s… a nice night. We shouldn’t spend it inside.”
Jiaoying wraps her arms around Yari as she stares at Solomon with a new attraction.
“What’d you have in mind then?”
