He was open to anything. If she wanted to live as farmers, he would plow the fields. If she wanted to be pirates, he would sail the seas.

“Not exactly,” Nyx whispered, biting his earlobe playfully.

“This time, we will not be wandering the mud like mortals. We have done that. It is time to embrace what we are.”

She spun him around so they were both looking at the planet.

“We will be the God and Goddess of this world,” Nyx declared, her eyes shining with mischief.

“We will create races. We will bless heroes. We will guide civilizations to war and peace. We will conquer the multiverses of this dream simulation.”

“We will play a game of strategy, my love. Just you and me, against the multiverse.”

Sunny laughed. It was ironic. He was exhausted from being a God in reality, so she decided the best way to relax was to play a God in a dream.

But with her? It sounded like paradise.

“You know…” Sunny said, tightening his grip on her waist, pulling her back into him. “My heart is a bottomless pit, Nyx. It may never be content with just this game.”

“Then I will just have to fill it,” Nyx replied with a wink.

“Let the game begin.”
