Aiden slowly straightened.

Graveknit turned and walked back toward him.

Behind it marched lines of skeleton warriors and bronze-grade undead.

The Carrion Knight stopped in front of Aiden and lowered its head.

“My lord.”

“Report,” Aiden said calmly.

“The town has been secured.”

“Resistance has been eliminated.”

Aiden glanced past the knight.

Through the open gates, he could see smoke rising from parts of the town.

Bodies littered the streets.

His undead soldiers were already moving through buildings, dragging out corpses and gathering loot.

The Carrion Knight continued.

“Our forces are currently collecting all gold coins and valuables.”
