Chapter 29: Ambushed

Chest heaving, sweat bathed, Luke lay beside his mother, his arms wrapped around her frame as he drew her closer.

She was in a half-asleep state, quite exhausted after what they had done.

It was already close to dawn. They have been at it for six hours.

Monica had forgotten how many times she ’came’ a term she learned from her son.

Her body was marked by him. Several glaring red marks could be seen on her neck and breast.

Her nail marks marred his back as well.

Thanks to his recent physical growth, Luke had enough energy to clean himself and his mother before removing the bedsheet.

She has practically drenched the whole sheet.

He had come inside her more than five times.

As Monica lay back down, he slid a hand under her breast and pressed his chest against her back.

Monica faintly blushed…admitting it felt wrong but she had surrendered to the pleasure so many times that denying it now felt like she would be lying to herself.

She gave him a brief nod, “I don’t know why…but…this was…strange.”

Luke grinned before telling her, “Good…so, from now on, don’t let the old man to touch you, okay? I will keep satisfying you.”

She then turned and looked into his eyes firmly, “No, Luke…this was the only time we did this a-and…I am your father’s mate.”

Luke’s eyes darkened, “Then, would you let him touch you?”

Her expression faltered, her heart skipping a beat before she shook her head, “No…I won’t…in the first place, we are already past the stage to think of mating.” But then she narrowed her eyes and said, “But that doesn’t mean we could do this again. Got it?”

Luke’s expression eased as he said, “Well, I can keep my cock in my pants but would this needy pussy of my dear mother live without me?” As he said, he traced her swollen labia, making her tremble all over.

The first person he saw was Gustav. The rest of the family stood nearby, including Lex. It was not just them. Neighbors had poured out of their homes as well, gathering in tense clusters.

“Luke… we were ambushed this morning,” Gustav said heavily as everyone turned to look at him.

Monica rushed forward and wrapped her arms around Luke.

His frown deepened. He pulled her close, one hand resting protectively on her back. “Who did it?”

“Monsters,” Lex replied, his tone unusually direct despite speaking to Luke. “From the deeper forest. They killed four soldiers and three villagers.”

That bluntness told Luke everything.

The situation was severe.

Luke leaned closer to his mother and whispered, “I will be back.”

Monica’s grip tightened. “But…”

“Do not worry. I will not go far.” He gave her a reassuring nod before gently stepping away, moving past Lex and heading toward the neighboring house.

Dart was already outside, his posture rigid and his expression grim.

“Dart? What is the situation?” Luke asked as he approached.

Dart’s face softened slightly at Luke’s presence, but the tension in his eyes remained. “A small pack of hunting wolves entered the village near dawn. They killed four men guarding the chief’s house. Those soldiers managed to take down most of the beasts, but one escaped. It killed three civilians before a mysterious figure brought it down.”

“Mysterious figure?” Luke repeated.

Dart nodded. “That is what everyone is saying. Someone in a cloak, face covered. They appeared out of nowhere and slew the wolf.”

Luke crossed his arms and stared ahead, his thoughts turning.

While he slept, chaos had already brushed against their doorstep.
